Man, these numbers are just insane. And it wasn't that long ago. Some of them are still selling hundreds of thousands of copies even as of last year, MKWii sold like what 700K last year? It's insane.

Nice to see Skyward Sword over 4 million, Kirby's Epic Yarn over 2 million, Galaxy 2 over 7.6 million, and Brawl on the brink of 13 million.

And holy shit, no matter how many times I see them, those NSMBWii and MKWii numbers are batshit insane.

Luckily I think most of the ones that didn't weren't expected to, stuff like Xenoblade, Pandora's Tower, The Last Story, most of the new play control stuff, some obscure spinoffs, the classic Kirby collection, etc. Though the fact that Prime Hunters didn't should say some things about Metroid in general.

I got so sick of hearing all of the shit about how poorly Skyward sold, especially considering that it was on a system that most more "hardcore" gamers have moved on from by the time it came out, it had people bitching and moaning about the art style, and it required a damn peripheral that not everybody had. 4 million's really pretty impressive with that context.

I still hear people claiming it's the "worst selling Zelda", which is rubbish as it's outsold Majora's Mask, Spirit Tracks, Link Between Worlds, Link's Awakening, Minish Cap, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, and Four Swords.

That's a special kind of misinformed, goddamn obnoxious. Even just using the 3D Zeldas as basis is wrong considering Majoras Mask. The only metric in which Skyward is the worst selling Zelda is worst selling on the Wii, and when your competition is Twilight, well no shit.

OT: It still amazes me how much Pokémon sells. It still has potential to pull out 15m+ sellers. I'm really curious to see how the next generation of Pokémon will perform on the next Nintendo system.

Too bad they couldn't keep Wii and DS output for this generation. Tons of Wii games missing from Wii U like Endless Ocean, a proper Animal Crossing, Mario Strikers and Sluggers, Wii Music, etc..
