Earlier today we told you that Microsoft are introducing cross-buy with Quantum Break, and that those who pre-order the game on Xbox One will also get a token for a second copy on Windows 10 PC.

as I have said, this is essentially exclusive. They push up the value of Windows 10 in the process by pushing people to upgrade or to use Windows 10, which makes MS a shit ton of money.  Or even to own XBox One for the crossbuy value. Maybe they love playing both or allows them to play if someone is using the computer or the tv etc..

Let's see how this thread goes, most likely will be used as a weapon to trash Xbox.

technically it's not cross buy
you preoder on xbox one and get the windows 10 version for free


but crossbuy will happen soon (at least for killer instinct and fable)
maybe other games will follow.

Cross buy, BC, Interesting exclusives, PC cross play, Win 10 remote play, bottomless pockets.......

Ok so I still prefer Playstation...but I have to say MS is making a LOT of good moves right now. The X1 won't catch the PS4, but this could give them a considerable position to hit the ground running HARD next gen.

* Cross play on xbox only games. MS are still being douchebags regarding real cross platform play.

MS wants to add more value to windows 10 and the xbox one. It may turn out to be a smart move depending on how many of their exclusives will be cross-buy. It would also help if they added cross-play (xbox one gamers can play with PS4 and PC gamers) or at the very least between the xbox one and win 10. I guess we'll see.

Down the road if you buy alot of pc games this way, it ll make getting into Xbox more attractive.
On the other hand, this gives you less insentive to get a xbox if you already have a pc.
