so, some people here have a problem that sony is overconfident with one of their own product? Makes sense, no really evil sony is back.

I don't see the issue here? It is true, the PS4 is technically "VR-ready", subsequently so is any PS4 user

ready - yes. buying it - no.

What's wrong with its current form? Do you seeing Oculus being a massive failure, as well?

personally I would see them both as having mediocre success at best. far too many limitations and restrictions due to processing power exist and the simple fact many peoples brains have a lot of trouble adjusting to VR without throwing up.

The throwing up part is simply not true for many people. If the Game is designed in a proper way, nobody throws up. The nausea is coming when there is a disconnect of motion and what you see and this is a game design thing. Personally only a few people I know got nauseous in the DK2 and with the CV1 and I suspect PS VR hopefully as well this should be significantly more reduced. The vast majority of people will not have any issues.

Seems like Sony is again telling there fanbase what they like.

This is where I feel Microsoft trumped Sony. Microsoft recreated gears with modern gameplay mechanics and graphics so people could have something to play until gears 4 comes out. Sony really should've done the same. They even did it with halo. They kept the gameplay as close to the latest game while still making us feel like we were in the original. Feels fresh yet familiar. Even with the drakes fortune remaster you feel the age.

Wrong thread! Haha!

Anyone else planning on getting a second job to be able to afford the PS3- I mean, Playstation VR?

It does sound ps3 like. I'm going to wait and see how the PlayStation VR plays out. Hopefully it's surprising.

They aren't actually, if you would have just actually read the quote instead of jumping on the bandwagon.

“All PS4 owners are ready for VR”, openly saying that apart from purchasing the PlayStation VR headset they won’t need to spend any more on hardware.

Litterally right in the OP.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
