I would be genuinely surprised if we are alone in the universe. Regardless of how life came to be on this planet, with the innumerable planets out there, I find it hard to believe that the same or similar thing hasn't happened on other worlds.

My reasons are more than just understanding technology to produce decent ways of travelling through space, it's a matter of scale of the Universe. The closest star is 4 light years away and it's moving like everything is. I think it's going to take a lot more that FTL to be able to journey beyond our system.

This 100% sure there is alien somewhere,  but i am more like 5% they visited us ^^  with all these amazing camera, i have hard time with all these crappy video ^^

Just for fun, but... technically speaking we are ! There is the visible Universe and we are in the center of it, because that's the very definition of the visible Universe. And there is outside, and we don't really know so much about it.

Definitively. I'm convinced there are other liveforms out there, the probability is just too high, for them not to.
That however doesn't mean that I think we are, or ever will be, in contact with any of these liveforms.
The universe is so big, travel distances are so unimaginably far and travel so complicated, that I think it's also highly unlikely that we as species will ever have contact with any extraterrestrials. Let alone us as individuals in our livetime.

Yeah, I agree. I still reserve the idea that they COULD be checking us out without us really knowing. But, it's a "I'll believe it when I see it" sort of thing.
