Forums - Gaming Discussion - 2K: Gearbox Software's Battleborn development team to also work on Borderlands 3

My life for Borderlands 3.

I'd gladly trade my cat for Borderlands 3. I know this new IP is important to Gearbox and everything but I want Borderlands 3 SO MUCH.

I just finished the handsome collection and an ready for some more borderlands. Might be the first time I buy it at launch.

I want more Gaige.

Gearbox is becoming DICE. Working on useless online games instead of the one unique thing they're good at.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Borderlands 2 was one of my favorite games from last gen, can't wait for Borderlands 3!

can anyone answer me whether or not Borderlands gets more interesting as you progress in the game?

I remember playing the first one for about an hour or two but it feeling mega grindy without much story :O thinking about trying it and then Borderlands 2 again (I own both) but I am just concerned if it truly is a shooting level grind with constant loot grinding for the whole game :O

thanks,

Borderlands doesn't have a lot in the way of story.  The General Knox DLC (which is really good) probably has a better "story" than the main game itself.  However, they listened to the fans and Borderlands 2 has a lot more of a story, including a few great twists and one of the best videogame villains ever.

That being said, though, neither game might be for you if you don't like continually improving your selection of weapons and finding pieces that fit your playstyle and build.  It's a game based on perpetual upgrading.
