Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Meet Project Elea, a game targeting NX*

Project Elea is a sci-fi adventure game that seems to be in the same vein as the many atmospherics space adventure games that are spawning lately (remember Tacoma and Adr1ft). The blogger at WiiUDaily mentioned it might be trying something like Amnesia, but the trailer doesn't say much.

It has been confirmed for PC, MAC, VR and consoles. No specific console seems to be mentioned on the trailer but, no matter, WiiUDaily believes it will come to NX since, aparently, the dev team has showed interest in developing for the platform.

Any Interest?

I really want to be optimistic and see this as a sign that nx dev kits are out in the wild and unreal 4 games with this kind of graphical fidelity are able to run on the system but chances are they dint know much more about the nx than we do and they're just keeping a potential nx port in mind because indie games are popular on the Wii u and the same will probably be true for future Nintendo systems

Watched The video an hour ago. Nothing impressive and I do not trust anything with project in the title coming to a Nintendo system.

Whats wrong with the word "Project"?

*quietly deletes Unity file named Project Awesome*

Project cars. Also I think one of those robot games from miyamoto had a project name too.

Project shield, project robot...? There were two. There's also Project hammer, really old wii game that looked very cool. Never released, ofc. :c

Wow, what a power post!

Did you notice that the end of the trailer shows a VR logo?
Possibly confirming another input type like the wiiu tablet?

Seems to have an interesting concept, but since it had zero game footage, Ill leave my judgment for later. But its great news that they want to do a NX version.Having that said, they want to port it to NX because they know the game can run it?(in case they know the specs), or did they just see a Tech demo from Nintendo and concluded that NX is capable of running their game? This damn wait for NX is killing me

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Where in the world did they've seen anything related to NX in the video or the official blog ?

You want something official? Ask and you shall receive!

"Currently, we are developing Project Elea for PC only. In addition, we’re working with Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 (DK2) for VR compatibility. Of course, we’re hoping to eventually bring it to other platforms like Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One and Nintendo’s upcoming next-gen console."

This is from a press document which can be found in the "Official Press Kit" near the bottom of the official page. Just hit contacts and you'll see it under the social networks icons.
