They are ads added to the video with html 5 or flash player

I don't mean the banners. I mean when you click a video then get an advert clip play normally you can skip after 5 seconds. But some are now unskippable until the full advert has played.

I was wondering if ad block also stops that, as that is YouTube's main revenue.

GT used to be my favorite gaming site, then they changed their video player and comment system, stopped doing retrospectives, and stopped reviewing games I liked in a reasonable timespan. So slowly, but surely I stopped visiting.

My hands are already shaking because of not enough Final Bosman.. I need my shots.

I used to be a Gametrailers member to, back in the day. I did not log in with my account for at least 5 years now, but I was still a regular visitor. Loved the reviews and top 10's.

But in the last 2 years I had some serious issues with the video players. Never the less, the team was great. Going to miss them, and it will be a hard thing to fill. Most current contenders are shallow jokesters with not the slightest sign of objectivity :(

yes it stops that. Why not trying it out yourself and see what is blocked and what isnt?

I guess gamers are more likely to use it than the more general demographic that use YouTube then :p
