I find it insanely funny whose sole purpose last gen was to brainwash gamers into thinking that Xbox was better is now 'going out of business' now that PlayStation is clearly better. Still remember when they did comparisons and were caught lying about which console was which.

I had a small conversation with Machina regarding that and the Prediction League back in November. This is what he had to say regarding the color scheme: "I'd like to remove the gamrConnect branding (and colour scheme) at some point. Use the VGC scheme and properly reunify the site."

Fellow GT-er here - I don't know how strict GT was since 2012  - I left around that time, didn't like what they did with the new format (old GT had a lot of focus on user created content), and after Shane's departure (as much as he was disliked, his departure for me marked the beggining of the end) and the "great culling", I haven't visited much.

I lurked around here some 2 years before that, so finally decided to make a jump - it's smaller, you get to recognise and know more people by name, it's slightly more strict, but overall it was satisfying transition.

Ok.

I'd also like to see VGC like it used to be and have new colors. It would be a nice feature to be able to change the site color, if only to match our prefered brand (with red, blue, green and... we need at least one more color for PC).

Meh was expected, two three E3's ago you had a Kyle special where they just had to hear that they were bought and Kyle asked in one of the later shows 'Brandon is GT dying' with no answer.

GT was a good site at the start when they had their 'users upload videos' and auction house. But basically youtube took ever, retrospectives were done faster by other people on youtube, AVGN moved on with screwattack, Epic battlecry could not stay with Daniel Kayser etc.

I enjoyed the reviews but their are so many youtubers who do a better job imo. I really like how much time Angry joe spend in his reviews, just compare the GTA review from GT to Angry Joe's day and night difference.

Also the community of GT went horrible, and the diversity in the GT staff was gone. It felt like only the PS fans staf stayed. Damiani gone, Andrea not showing up anymore, elyse going to funhaus etc...


The only thing I hate is how the system can fuck them up so easy, it is not fair especially trough the eyes from a European. Bloodworth just got married and was taking three weeks of, and now he has to hear 'welcome back you are out of a job'.

How can GT guys know how to come here?

Sad to see it go, have fond memories of reading reviews, watching new AVGN episodes and ScrewAttack countdowns from there. But times change.

If I visit a website on a regular basis, I'll disable it to test the ad waters and depending on the ads, i'll keep it disabled or not.

They should at least be aware of this site because of the numbers. Only place for WW estimates so it's referenced alot. 

Watching my last GT review, I'll miss that
