It does have bad controls, bad AI, bad graphics, bad story and bad voice acting.

I enjoyed my time with Devil's Third, the controls are not bad, the AI is but for a reason, the graphic are a mixed bag,the music is very good actually, the plot is bonkers but that is part of the charm and the voice acting is perfect for the story.

The big difference is that I bought Devil's Third because it was released on disc, but I will not buy Fatal Frame because it was digital only played the demo, love it and will not purchase.

If you cherry pick a collection of just bugs almost every game (even good ones) will look very bad, just take any Bethesda tittle. Devil's third is not a great game, is not a good one, I would argue that is not even a decent one, but that also applies to Fatal Frame. If you check user reception and scores they are not that far apart between those tittles.

Devil's third is not a great game, is not a good one, I would argue that is not even a decent one, but that also applies to Fatal Frame. If you check user reception and scores they are not that far apart between those tittles.

Not that I consider Metacritic any more than a collection of opinions, but 67 to 43 is a pretty significant gap.

And you don't need to cherry pick with Devil's Third, bugs and flaws are constantly thrown in your face, you only need to play for five minutes to witness a veritable parade of bugs, laughable AI, graphics from 2005, and a framerate that runs like a 3-legged dog with epilepsy.

You are using critics... I am saying user experience... 6.4 vs 7.4 is not a significant gap.

I finished the game, used 13 hours from start to finish and never faced any big problem, I was always able to pick up the weapons, no AI problems with my team, no float problem, no air wall problems, only real problem was the "corpse" problem in the video and is far from a deal breaker.
