So, why do you use forums? Is it because you love sharing your thoughts? Is it because you like the sense of community? Is it because you want your opinion validated? I'm sure some of you haven't thought about it before, you just know that you enjoy being on VGChartz.

I like having discussion and meeting people I can play and talk with about games frequently. VGC, specifically, because the community is awesome. Just today I had the best day ever thanks to PowerXXX

I love the people at the Nintendomination thread, and I have good relations with a couple of the mods here, as well as several other users.

I have nothing else to do. Only use forums during my free time.

Unlike those gaming facebook groups, You won't see that many repost.
you can actually have a civil debate in fourms. (most of the time)
Basically, the community here and GAF is a lot better.

The truth? I love video games and I have an ungodly amount of gaming knowledge in my head. People in my area think I'm pretty cool but I like talking "geek talk" with like minded individuals. You guys challenge me in a good way.

I like posting anonymously (not real name like facebook).Privacy is important.
Other than that, good discussion and searchable index.
