Fair enough, that does make sense. I can understand how you don't like Connor as a character. I agree Arno about the comparison to, who I think was worse. At times he bored me to tears. With Unity, although I liked the graphical beauty of the game, the parkour feel flat on its face due to the impossibility of traversing the city via rooftop due to the gap across the street, and this was a game breaker for me. Syndicates grappling hook is a goo solution and therefore avoids the problem. |
Agreed, except that the limitation of the parkour in Unity didn't bother me by that much, but it sure was a problem. The grappling hook truly made syndicate much more enjoyable, that and having two characters with different perspectives and methods, I found both of them to be relatable. I'm actually looking forward to what comes next even though we may not get anything this year after the big decline in sales.
I am leaving off Altair's Chronicles, Bloodlines, Discovery, China and India
1, AC2/Brotherhood(i just don't want to choose)
2. AC4: Black Flag
3; AC Syndicate
4. AC Revelations
5. AC Rogue
6. AC Liberation
7. AC1
8. AC3
9. AC Unity
Can AC2 stand on its own if you've never played an AC game before?
Lube Me Up
I've played the first two AC. Not a fan, but II is vast superior. AC is one of the most boring and repetive games I've ever played. ACII fixed a lot and it's a way more fun game, but nothing outstanding. Good game, nevertheless.

The first AC is incredibly repetitive but Intend to judge it I. How it held up at the time, and back in 2007 as a new IP it really got me invested in it. Plus I enjoyed the gameplay enough to overlook the repetitiveness.
Just finished black flag, haven't played unity, rogue or syndicate yet.
1- AC 2 - 9.1/10
2- AC Revelations - 8.6/10
3- AC Black Flag - 8.4/10
4- AC Brotherhood - 8.3/10
5- AC 3 - 7.6/10
6- AC - 6.2/10
7- AC Liberation - 3.7/10
Ezio is such a great and fun character.
Liberation was just terrible, seriously, those walking sequences with the dress, ugh.
Bortherhood best, AC3 worst. Don't care about the rest.

To be honest, the first time I played this game was two years ago, so it was nothing new and innovative for me. I think that the game has potential, if only they cut the length of the game like 5 hours. It was a very boring and repetitive experience towards the end. ACII solved all of that with more variety and better side quests and gameplay.
1. Assassin's Creed II (Excellent)
2. Assassin's Creed IV (Great)
3. Assassin's Creed (good)
4. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (Good)
5. Assassin's Creed III (bad)
6. Assassin's Creed Unity (Horrible)
7. Assassin's Creed Revelations (Horrible)
