You have to realise that the left relies on emotion and not logic.They use words like racist, homophobic, transphobic, fat shaming etc to shut down debate.It is becoming increasingly hard to have a discussion or debate with a leftist that is based on logic and fact.Universities are now one big "safe space" and many famous comedians like Seinfeld and Chris Rock refuse to perform at campuses across the USA.

I think all of us have rascist tendencies, conscious or subconsciously. It´s most likely biologically imprinted in our genome, to categorize and assess the world around us and always assess the threat level of other people. And we find open rascism within all groups of people, no matter the color.

But the thing is, history has been fortunate for caucasian people. We are not more intelligent than any other group, we don´t have any extra skill. But many of our ancestors have been succesful in invading other nations, or having slaves. So the "white privilege" is a historical heritage that has formed the society we live in today. And even though we, in a lot of ways, have leveled the playing field when it comes to legal rights, it takes a lot longer for people´s minds to change and for them to look at other people as equals. If the roles had been reversed and people from africa had established prescence in the US and gotten slaves from Europe, we would have been talking about "black privilege" today.

I think everyone should be able to bash everyone no matter what color of their skin, but we need to understand why opposition toward what white people say about black people is so strong sometimes.

By this way of thinking, every religious person on the planet is guilty of every transgression and violent, horrific act carried out in the name of their respective faiths throughout history.  So, all Christians, Catholics, and Muslims are racist, woman hating, pedophiles.  Generalizations and Sins of the Father mentality are lovely, aren't they?

The thing that utterly pisses me off about this, is that I'm not rich, I've never been rich, my family was pretty poor when I was growing up, and we've never experienced this 'white privilege' you refer to.  My stepfather drove a fucking moped to work, in Vermont, through winters so he could put food on our table.  Fuck anyone saying he was privileged.  

Generally when someone trots out the tired SJW white privelege lines i ask them to explain how it is that Asian Americans earn more than white Americans, have a higher college attendance rate, lower unemployment rate and a lower divorce rate than whites.It's amusing to watch the SJWs backtrack and BS their way through.In reality though it has to be due to a better work ethic, stronger cultural emphasis on "success" (whatever that is defined as by that culture) and so on.This is why the concept of racial privilege in modern America is so flawed - it encourages defeatism in African Americans while downplaying the significant achievements Asian Americans have worked so hard for.

What? I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I mean that we need to understand why the term "white privilege" exist and why there still are structures in society that benefits some people to a higher degree than others.

Is it right to blame anyone for all transgressions in the past by a specific color of your skin, religion or ideology? No, absolutely not, but we can not behave and think that we are not in any way affected by the society around us and the history that has lead to where we are today. I am talking about finding explanations for people´s reaction, not just looking at people´s reactions in a vacuum without any relation to history or how society as a whole is today.

So you explanation for asian americans "success" in this regard is the same explanation that can be applied in relation to "white privilege" that I was talking about? History, culture and the development of society has benefitted some people more than other and often we can see it on a larger scale that some groups benefit more than other.
