The reason I'm asking this is because it dawned on me that I was a casual gamer. I'm not bothered about tech that much, don't know the history of gaming like a lot of people and have a specific taste in games that means I buy a lot less than most on here. I might lean towards core when my finances improve.

I consider myself casual, I didn't really get into gaming till about 2-3 years ago.

I pretty much play games all the time, I don't really watch TV. But the games play differ. I'l happily play CoD next to Dragon Age, yet I pretty much only buy 3 or 4 games a year (I mean that aren't given to me by PS+). I also will always buy a DA, Tekken and a few other series main titles every time but rarely buy anything else without a huge discount or used.

I'm not sure what you'd class me, casual I guess.

To be quite honest, I consider everyone here in the forums Hradcore, or close to it.I mean, we are here spending time on forums discussing about videogames and the likes, instead of doing other things.Isnt that one of the definitions of being hardcore, or even core, to something?

On one hand, I play games for fun & nothing else. If I'm bored, or frustrated, I won't continue playing. On the other hand, I play games on a regular basis and visit a gaming forum.
