Forums - Nintendo Discussion - a NoA employee reaches out to Toby Fox (Undertale creator)

http://gonintendo.com/stories/251432-nintendo-dev-support-reaches-out-to-undertale-creator-for-unknown

With the rumors popping up today that we are finally getting Mother 3 some time this year makes me wonder if he is asking Toby to help localized it since he is a huge fan of the series or more likely trying to get Undertale's console debut on Nintendo platforms?

Let the speculation commence!

But yeah this does look interesting. Hell maybe they will contract him to make another game in the same vein as the Mother series? But if I had to bet money my guess would be on getting Undertale onto Nintendo platforms.

That would be awesome, make it happen nintendo!

Man, that'd be so awesome.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I just hope Undertale releases on every available system so everyone can play it. The game is beautiful

Well at least one of the big 3 are reaching out to the one small dev. He did mention in some other interview that it wouldn't work with Wii U since it would mean redesigning the game entirely, maybe Nintendo could finance and work with him on that and create some sort of foothold. The game more or less seems up Nintendo's alley anyway.

i think it would be hard to release on consoles in general UNDERTALE SPOILER AHEAD

the final boss will crash the game when he kills you so yeah that would require some to be changed and replace in order to make it work

Oh shit, I totes forgot about that part. Yeah and don't forget how the game knows what you;re doing, like trying to do bad shit and then trying to undo it won't actually work at all, just resetting the game/console won't fix that.

Sometimes I think Toby was too smart for his own good, especially when you look too deeply into the game itself.

Dang, if that's real, I would totally buy Undertale again on Wii U, though I wonder how they would get passed some of the technical things that happens in the game... : X

that's probably why this guy is contacting Toby since his job is developer support he's probably contacting Toby cause Toby is having problems due to the fourth wall breaks making it really hard to port and he's trying to help Toby solve them.
