That's pretty insane when comparing the hardware sales for the 3DS and DS! The franchise is still isn't going down anytime soon!

Weird how Crystal is the lowest selling "third version" when it came out at the high point of Pokémania in the late 90s-early 00s.

Dissapointing sales for X&Y.

Ikr!!!! Its 3m behind D&P and the user base is only 1/3 of the DS! Soooo dissapointing! 

No. It's because the hype pre-release. I was reading comments of people being interested in the franchise that had not played any pokemon after the original ones. That's why I always had the perception that this was going to do very good. But even Black and White were somewhat dissapointing considering the big installbase.

It's interesting how there's a clear pattern with sales and the type of Pokemon game, with the exception of Yellow.
