Rubio lookin like he could sneak in and take this thing.

Bernie Sanders for President! Woot! I love this man! First Iowa, then the Primaries! Bernie was 60 points behind Hillary when he started 9 months ago. Today, he's .3 points behind her. Bernie's catching up! If you don't know what Bernie's plans prupose, here are a few key points:

  • Raise the Minimum Wage to $15 an hour, over the course of a few years.
  • Free College and University Tuition (for public colleges) + reduced student debt for those with it already.
  • Healthcare for All + Elimination of Private Health Insurance. Joining the rest of the first world countrys with free healthcare for every single American, regardless of income.
  • Move away from Fossil Fuels to Clean Energy, thus taking on global warming (climate change) more drastically than the Republicans!
  • Expand Social Security to those who need it (mainly elderly) so that they are not living in poverty.
  • Increased VA benefits, so that veterans can get the care they need when returning from war. 500,000 military personnell came back from Afghanistan and Iraq with severe PTSD.
  • Bernie wants to make it illegal for billionaire corporations like Big Oil, or Big Pharma to purchase elections and move to a public-only funded campaign, thus making the candidates work for the people that are electing them, rather than serve the corporate billionaire slave holders.
  • Bernie wants to make every American citizen automatically registered to vote, and have a national holiday to go vote, so that every American voice is heard in the political process.
  • If you think this is Socialism, and that Socialism is somehow bad for YOU, then continue to believe in your rich, corporate paid for presidential nominee, like he will do anything to fight for you.
  • He is fucking awesome! Seriously.
HOW DOES HE PAY FOR ALL OF THIS?! As Bernie so elegantly puts it: "We live in the richest country in the world. We're the only country in the world that does not guarentee healthcare as a right to all of its citizens, nor free tuition to public colleges and universities, as a right! Millions of college graduates are graduating with thousands of dollars in debt, and not finding the jobs they need to pay for it. We have to look at a College Degree the same way as a High School Diploma, for it is needed in the world of today. We must look at Education as an Investment, for educated citizens run a country more optimally, and the economy is healthier because of educated citizens. We are the only country on earth that allows private health insurance companies to gouge their users. I pay for all of these things by taxing the millionaire and billionaire companies, that stash their money in the Cayman Islands, and other tax safe havens, and demand they start paying their fair share of taxes. I tax Wall Street Speculation. The American people bailed out Wall Street in 2008. It is time for Wall Street to repay the American people. I will pay for my policies by lifting the limits on taxable income. After that, a small tax increase across the middle class will be imposed, but nothing more than 3-5%. You will pay a little bit more in taxes, but just like the rest of the First World, your Education will be tuition free, and your healthcare and medical costs will be free!"
Now, if you don't want these things, please, move along.

Not a fan of... well... any US politicians really. But I'll take take Cruz over Trump any day.

Trump actually got votes? Guess voting isn't rigged by politicians, just by money.

Lol. So funny! I'm literally dying over here...just kidding. C'mon son. Do you actually believe that garbage? People are voting for Trump because people want to vote for Trump. Money has nothing to do with it. In fact, of any real candidate (the five people that dominated tonight's discussions), he spent the least money campaigning!

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

I think this could be the beginning of the end for Trump, he's ridden that "loud mouth" pony a bit too hard and I think it turns off as many people as it attracts. There's too much of that bullying tone and not enough humility from him and it turns some people off I think.

The whole "I win, win, win so much" stuff from Trump also now is going to look really bad on him, if you talk the talk that's one thing, but you really look like a loser if you can't back it up.

Rubio I think is going to make big gains from now on as establishment Repubs rally around him.

On the Democratic side, man nothing is ever easy for Hilary, lol, she thought she would have an easy time against Barack Obama too. This will energize the Democratic race like crazy.

Lol, as someone who doesn't care about politics, I have never heard of Rubio, Cruz, Jeb Bush, Carson, etc. before 2015.

You know who I did hear of? Trump, because he is rich.  And why then is all the media focused on Trump> everyone else combined? The only thing I can think of is hits thus money.

Well there you have your answer ...

The media is focusing on Trump because the rest of the Republican candidates aren't one bit interesting ...

Interesting stuff becomes money, no? Just because Trump doesn't have to spend, does not mean that spending is not happening from everyone else on his behalf.

That of course includes these very words, which is why I often ignore politics. I am giving him free marketing.

How well media coverage translates to victory is variable or maybe it's the other way around ?

Maybe these people really do want to vote for Trump deep in their hearts and hence it begets more coverage for him LOL ...

Have you ever thought that there are really people out there that do want to promote Trump at their own expense ?
