I have a question, what is the correct way to calculate national income? I googled it but different sites have different answers.

I did:

Compensation of employees

+

Rent
+

Interest

+

Propietors income

+

Corporate profits

Should I also add Government transfer payments? Does anyone know? let me know, thanks.
