it's not like xbox doesn't have any brand recognition before this gen started.  have to remind you that xb360 sold more than 80m last gen.  About being more powerful, I believe that being more power is overrated.  gamers on the internet use it when your console of choice is more powerful, otherwise, they will move the argument to another advantage the console have but in reality, ps4 isn't beating xb1 because of power IMO but because of other variable such as better brand recognition.

I would pile up, the always on scandel at the unveil, the way they droped the 360 on that last year versus the PS3 still pumping out great exclusives in the same year increasing consumer perception of the PS brand and finally the fatigue of most Microsoft exclusives.

I haven't got a clue whether the person who started this thread owns a PS4. All I know is this question has been asked and answered so many times that I find it hard to believe he/she doesn't know the answer.

Yes I agree and this is especially true in my country for example. Many casual gamers don't even know what X1 is and every console is referred as Playstation. It used to be Nintendo. Didn't help that X1 launched year late here.

The vita even without sony support, is still getting many times more games, than some consoles (wii u).

Not just shovel ware games, but decent games.

Its time to realise 3rd party games carry consoles.

Sony screwed up the hardware designs when they made the vita.

If they had aimed abit lower (instead of makeing a console 10times stronger than the 3ds) made a cheaper one, without weirdly expensive memory cards, it would have been "the" handheld to own this gen.
