Actually 22 Zelda games have sold above 1ml http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=Zelda Tri force heroes should be above 1mlw ith digital. But also another interesting fact is that from the data available to us today the only Zelda that has sold 1ml fw with a WW release was Skyward Sword, and that game released on a system with 90ml users at the time.

I don't think so. First of all, no one really takes VGC's pre-order numbers seriously. At least they haven't until now. Secondly, only Smash and Mario Kart 8 have done that on the Wii U as of now and I don't see that changing until Zelda U releases.

Yup skyward sword did 1ml during it first week WW release, and thats the only zelda game that did 1ml fw with the data we have available.

If it does sell a million, I'd be ecstatic. One of my absolute favorite games of all time. I'll be buying. Guess we'll see the results soon.

I would say yes, unless no, because the US pre-orders are insanely overtracked.

Playing Xenoblade 2 before I buy Xenoblade 3 (otherwise I couldn't wait to play 3).

Can they announce a new Fire Emblem? A remake of Genealogy or Tellius would suffice !

OT: The only Wii U game so far to do one million Worldwide first week was Mario Kart 8 at 1.2, no other game has even come close. In fact, I think the second biggest first week was Mario Maker at 500-something k. I feel very confident in saying that TPHD won't sell a million first week worldwide, though it might perform fairly well first week cause I have a feeling that Zelda is a bit less leggy/more frontloaded than stuff like Mario?

It will probably do great lt anyway.

We're also looking at a userbase nearly 3x the size from the time MK8 launched as well.

Smash global-aligned sales for Smash came near 1 million. Other big WiiU games this past year, but smaller IPs than Zelda, like Splatoon and XCX have debuted @ 400-500k for global-aligned launch. So it should pretty safely clear 500k.

Based on Amazon, Gamestop, Best Buy etc it's trending in the same league as the Division - which will probably sell nearly 3 million as a multiplat.

Following the rule that games sell 2-3 times their preorder numbers, TPHD can hit 1 million even if the current VGC preorders have a margin of error of over 50%



I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
