Remember the moral outrage over Playstation receiving many next gen remasters and ports for the first 2 years.  Xbox got some stick too but strangely enough most of the outrage was targeted at Sony.  

Lately there's been a ton of talk from Nintendos fans about remasters and next gen ports.  A lot of them are saying they want these NX remasters and ports and a lot are just stating Nintendo will likely do it (not saying if they're for or against). 

So my question is,  will Nintendo suffer from this same moral outrage from the same people who chastised Sony and Microsoft.  I remember how Nintendo were portrayed as the white knight and would never stoop to such lows.  

The NX is fast approaching and people have many questions.  This is another question for you.  

It depends. If Nintendo fails to expand its audience, and those who support the NX are the exact same people who bought WiiUs, then yes, we'll see outcry. They didn't bought a new console to play old games. But if Nintendo manages to expand the userbase big time, those who complain would be on the minority, just because of all the people who didn't own a WiiU would be willing to try those remasters. They would be new games for them.

It's likely to go the same way as DLC.

I guess it depends on the games. If the games are old, like gamecube and older, I wouldn't be as upset, but if there are as many as the remasters the PS4 games, I would just be shaking my head. We don't need that many remasters.. Though that would mean Ninten would remaster pretty much every game from the Wii U to the NX to catch up to the amount the PS4 is getting. The only way I see that happening is if the NX isn't BC, and that seems possible if we go from the rumored info we are getting on the NX. How would BC be possible if the NX doesn't use disks...?

Either way, I wouldn't be buying remasters of games I already own, so I won't bat that much of an eye.

It will. Everyone will be on the ready to complain about anything on the NX. No matter how small. We will see a total outroar, if voice chat isn't normal. Or if the console forces stuff some way. remaster ports will be a field day of NX HAS NO GAMES! comments.

It will not happen anyways, I can see maybe 2 WiiU games (including Zelda, and that wouldnt be a remake but a port) on NX.

But it would be very fun to see people that has been defending the ridiculous amount of Ps4 remakes till death shitting about Nintendo for doing the same, really really fun. Again, it will probably not, because until now every Nintendo remake ever has been only for games that are +10 years old. Not 1 or 2 years.

I'm already mad by all those Zelda remasters and no new Zelda on homeconsoles.

Probably won't happen. It barely happened on the Wii U. BC stops the need for it.
