While I'm guessing you are trying to say you enjoy the Wii-U because of these, don't forget that the Wii-U cannot launch a game if it hasn't been updated from the net, Like Wii-U updated, take away internet, put in an older game which hasn't been played in a while or buy a new game and try to play it without net.
While you do need to install games on both X1/PS4 you can do it offline from the disks and jump right in, even if they have updates, you can choose not to apply them and just play the games.

As for the topic - I think the X1 is looking like a lot better of a purchase now than it was at launch, but at the same time it took them so long to do the 180s on stuff like Always online and Kinect I think they've done more lasting damage which they can't 180, it's not possible for MS to change the fact that it's system is being outsold almost 4:1 each week by the ps4, in terms of future software any dev can see that there is 4 times as much chance of their game being purchased if they bring it to the PS4 than the X1, on top of the fact that if it's a game which is multiplayer focused then it would clearly do a whole lot better on the system where the bigger player base is at since no one wants to buy an online game with the fear of deserted servers in far less time, especially given the asking price of games this generation.
On top of that I think MS is going to have to put a bag over digital foundry and drag them down a lane, because if you happen to venture onto any gaming forum or youtube even you're going to see those digital foundry comparisons showing up the fact that not only is the X1 less of a good investment because of its confused birth.... but also even if all of its issues were resolved you are still left with a system which has to jump through hoops to achieve the same graphical performance as its rival, again... buying a €70 game stings a bit, but if you are buying that game knowing that the exact same money will buy you the game running better with higher res then yeeeee smart money goes the way of the Ps4 again.
One massive thing the X1 has over the PS4 tho, it's the underdog, weirdly I know but when it comes to things like BC on the X1, you get them doing a ton of work to bring X360 games to the system (every games with gold title going to the X360 is now also a X1 playable title) all for the low low cost ... of free, I mean in comparison to the PS4 offering of allowing it's users to buy PS2 games for $15 or so and not even so much as a whisper of suggestion a discount for people who've bought those games before (disk based on the ps2, or digitally on the ps3). I think that is pretty much a slap in the face when you compare how the two companies/systems are handling Backwards compatibility and handling the "nickle and diming" of their fans which is where the X360 got so much flak last gen (damn rightly so putting things like IE and Youtube behind golds paywall).
I could definitely see myself buying an X1 at a point the way the console is now for gaming, just for Halo 5 and the Rare Replay collection alone, but in terms of if you don't have a console, it would be a very determined Xbox fan I think to see the X1 as a better purchase than the PS4 when you have them for (I think) almost the same price.
As for the bias I hold in gaming... well I have close to 200 retail X360 games, only have a PS4 from this gen so far.... before the X360 I was a huge GC fan, still have around 180 games for that which I still love and play often, so yeah my Bias is where great games are, I have pretty much every other system each gen btw, so of course own a ps2/Xbox/Ps3/Wii but just saying that over each gen I've never stayed with a brand just for the brand, I've gone with the most enjoyable console for great games.
