I agreed they offer greatly different experiences, which is why it's important that two seperate consoles provides two seperate experiences. Why wouldn't ALBW work on a home console? Because most home console owners simply aren't looking for that experience. They want the Zelda U type experience. And no, I don't believe the same game provides a different experience on separate consoles, at least to the extent of making anyone excited enough to buy the other console for it. It's like saying "Here's the successor to the 3DS. It's a new handheld that will offer far fewer unique experiences than the 3DS." Pretty bad business decision being I'm fairly certain most Nintendo home console owners also have their handheld. Why? Different experiences. |
You are wrong, you can bet that ALBW would sell great on Wii U too, because some people don't like playing on handhelds and dont have handheld at all, but they would gladly playing ALBW on big screen, not to mentione that would be must have title for evre Wii U owner that is Zelda fan.
Some people love handhelds and home consoles, playing one game on home console when they are home and play same that game on handheld when are not home. Really not hard to imagine. But of course I don't think all people will buy handheld and home console only in order to play same games on both devices.
Of Course it not say that, and nobody will say that, espacily Nintendo, it more like saying "here is new handheld that can play home console games too". Pretty good business decision, espacialy if we know all facts that I mentioned several times.
