Really?

. Black people need to stop whining and making excuses whenever they fail. Literally no one hates blacks. They're everywhere, and have blended into our society. We get it, people prefer whites for jobs, blah blah. That means you simply work harder for your goal!

My father lived as a poor man in the ghettos of Chicago. Even though many people were prejudiced against him(for being Arab). But guess what?

HE.DIDN'T.CRY.

These morons do nothing but cry about change! You need to DO THE CHANGE in order to expect something in return!

My father didn't spend his life hating blacks or living a life of crime. He got himself together, got a good job, family, and helped his parents finally get a good home.

Most black people need to learn from Malcolm X.

hating blacks is racist.
Hating whites is racist.

Learn the definition of racist before you make your own silly definition

"NO ONE HATES BLACKS". You sir, are seriously deluded. Racism is very much alive in ALL circles.

You are just quoting the same thing every non-black person say because it's so cliche to say.

You mentioned an Arab father and as someone that spent time working in that part of the world when it comes to racism those guys are up there. This is just a personal observation. Take it or leave it, I don't care. However this is in no way a reflection on your dad. I don't know him.

On topic, yes there is. As a white person, globally more doors are opened to you. I am not just focusing on the US ( I only lived there for a short time). I worked with a Caribbean bloke and we traveled Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America together. Being white is definitely an advantage.

However I know this is not in the context you are implying. I do get what you are saying and to an extent I agree with you. But at the root of the problem is racism itself which many people don't want to acknowledge exist. I know a racist guy who is forever covering up his racist attitude by denial of racism in the world. The perfect double bluff.

Youtube comments sections say a lot about the state of racism in the world. Behind the keyboard you can hide.

I never said blacks have no form of disadvantage.

However, what's currently happening is that the gap between blacks and whites is closing, and in a very quick manner.

They went from being slaves to citizens in less than 200 years. That says a lot. Many black people are exaggerating what they're going to. While yes, some people are prejudiced against blacks, some people may have a reason to be skeptical- the generation of current blacks is disappointing. Many are amazing people, but there are large amounts of wanna-be gangsters that do nothing but make it harder for black people.

FYI, you do know that racism isn't as strong as it used to be though, right? It'll not take that long to solve the problems many blacks are facing(and other minorities). More people are widening their range for all types of people, and criticism against lack of diversity is everywhere nowadays.

Oh, and Asians actually get paid more than White people in the US. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ethnic_groups_in_the_United_States_by_household_income

Somali Americans seem to be getting paid less than African Americans nowadays.

People in this thread don't seem to understand what white privilege is.

When you see a black guy wearing baggy pants, a backwards hat, and timbs, and you cross the street because you subconsciously think he's dangerous, but when a white guy is wearing the same and you don't mind it; that's white privilege.

When Demetrius and Brett have the same background and qualifications, but Brett is the one who gets all the job interviews; that's white privilege.

When a white kid is stealing a bike and people just assume its his bike and he's trying to unlock it, but a black kid does the exact same thing, and people approach him aggressively because they assume he's actually stealing the bike; that's white privilege.

When cops kill unarmed black people immediately for minor infractions (like not signaling to change lanes or selling cigarettes) and nothing happens to them, but a white guy is threatening to shoot a guy and instead of immediately lighting the guy up, they diffuse the situation (you know, their jobs); that's white privilege.

When you're black and speak articulately, dress well, listen to any music that isn't rap, etc. and people say you "act white"; that's white privilege (completely normal things have been standardized to be "white").

White privilege isn't "black people can't ever get succeed in life because white people". White privilege simply means white people have advantages (explicitly or implicitly) merely for being white.

No sane person would do that. Perhaps if more people learned what equality meant, you wouldn't have bigoted views against either race.

Any person who cannot have the decency to pull their pants up should not be given tolerance. Same with stealing, violence, rape, and all of that nonsense.

Also, the only real problem I have with many BLM followers(black lives matter) and other groups is that they choose to hate white people as a solution. What does being rude to white people solve? Nothing.

Of course, you may deny this or say it's not everyone. However, let's be honest- many people decide to not fix their own mistakes before jumping up and down at the enemy.

As much as I want black people to be equal to whites, they do have their mistakes. I will not back down at all from this.

Liberals must stop getting offended when I point out the mistakes of the black people in America! And Conservatives must stop having prejudiced thoughts towards blacks.

As long as we keep arguing over terms and history, we'll never get anywhere. These issues aren't as big as people think(don't misinterpret that. What I mean is that it isn't a life-ending thing). It can be solved within a few years if people focused their priorities on the important things.

Thanks for misinterpreting what I said. This is exactly the reason why I have a hard time talking to people.

White privilege, one of the many mythical notions of social justice warriors.

While that person did misinterpret what you were saying. It did come off that way. I didn't take it that way personally but your posts seem very positive but don't really reflect the reality of the current situation(especially in the US). And not just for black but for minorities period. Yes there is sucha  thing as white privilige. No it is not on the same scales as it used to be. Yes there are oportunities for people of every race to advance if theyw ork hard enough. There is no denying any of that. You keep using words such as "most" and "many" when talking about blacks saying "they" do nothing but whine and complain when they fail.

For instance you said many of the BLM and other groups choose to hate white people when that is nowhere near true at all. They have not chose to hate anyone but to voice the opinion that their lives matter just as much as anyone elses life. They want equality accross the board. That is the issue we see. Sure the media blows it out of proportion at times. But there is a reality to what is going on especially when it comes to blacks(more so black males) in the US particularly. To deny this is just ludicrous.

To even say so much as much as I want black people to be equal to whites they do have theri mistakes is very short sighted. Every race has their mistakes but to use this as an argument is just odd to me. So becuase some blacks have made mistakes they can't be equal to whites? Not twisting your words but that is the context that you just used them in.

I can see you mean very well in your posts. And as a black male I know that as a people we have to do better together. But to use that as any type of justification for something has has been going on since the founding of the US is silly. Yes we can and HAVE to do better as a people. But we will not ignore things that are clearly obvious...especially when you see them first hand. I truly do appreciate your positivity and wanting people to do and be better that is AMAZING and very comendable. But it will be a nice amount of time before things are truly changed.

I genuinely thought you were being satirical. Your diction and voice had me entirely convinced.

My apologies, I thought I was joing in. Had I read your following post, I would have known differently. I can see that it'd be taken as mocking as you were being serious.

That being said, what could possibly convince you that a generation of a racial group is disappointing?

Listen, I choose to never use feelings when I talk. I use the information, and if someone proves I am wrong, then I'll accept it and change my ideas.

What I meant by black people's mistakes is that they can't keep making critical mistakes if they want higher pay, more professional look, etc. I'm sure you and I know that many black people choose to create a horrible image for themselves, by doing nothing to help themselves, or their community. They want to live the life of a gangster or whatnot. Sad that kids in this generation think being a gangster or rapper is actually a successful life. The ones who taught themselves better know that this is nothing but nonsense.

Also, the media is quite important nowadays. Do you not know how much power it holds? Let me give you an example:

-Black man resists arrest, hurt while being forced to the ground by officer

-Minority brutally attacked by white officer

These two can be based off of the same story. Yet, look at them. I've studied media bias for an extremely long time(years now). By how emotional people are nowadays, a story can be changed simply by changing the title.

Just think about that. A story can change the victim and criminal just by the words used.

Look, it's not as though I hate black people. I have a positive relationship with many minorites. However, only certain kinds- the ones who act like they want to be treated equally.

Many young minorities nowadays have role models such as DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, JB, Snoop Dogg, etc. They chose morons to guide their life. What does this result in? Hot headed freaks who have no respect for themselves or others. The ones who probably would make a girl pregnant and ditch her. The ones who can't say a sentence without swearing.

You see people like this all the time nowadays, and it disgusts me. I want to help black people, but how can I do so when many are going back to the ghetto life? No matter how hard you want something to change- whether if it's obesity, or smoking, race, gender inequality, etc., sometimes the change needs to come from the person themselves.

Want to prevent obesity? Well, you can't magically do so.  People need to commit themselves to staying healthy.

Want to prevent smoking? Therapy helps, but remember the smoker is the one with the choice to smoke or not.

Want blacks to be equal? Open your eyes and ears and see the state the black community is in. The people need an actual figure to help them become better people, removing the pathetic fools that they consider inspirational.

I choose to befriend those that have self decency. I slowly see more young blacks lack the self respect needed to be considered "good".

Of course, it's not like the young white kids are perfect. They need to get their crap together as well
