It's an easy title to just pick up and enjoy, for first timers.  All i'd probably say is search everywhere and get as much loot as possible.

Somebody did a video that seems like pretty good tips, for somebody looking for some:

Start with Dragon age inquisition, the go back to origins and stop by Divinity original Sin for a breather before starting Diablo 3.

Will I be able to do all that before my friend gets on in a few hours?

I'm playing it now, I think I played 'Normal' in my first play through and it was easy. I don't think I died which makes a mockery of the 'Hardcore' trophy/achievement as I wasn't playing on that mode.

If you want a challenge, I say up the difficulty from the off.

Hmm, pie.

if your playing on console dont play online, theres hackers

dont play on normal either, its too easy

Depends on how you divide the time. Hm, couple of hours you say? Well guessing that means four hours  you might just make it past the character creation system on Dragon age Inquisition. Your dipping your feet in the wrong end of the pool but I really, you must swing around to these games even if Diablo doesn't strike your fancy or tickle your dangly bits. Im guessing 400 hours of gameplay there give or take 100.

I've played dragon age origins years ago but I thought that's a diferent type of game to Diablo.

Pick Monk.

Thanks me later.
