I've seen people call it the best anime ever. I don't think it is. For one, the action is very onesided. One thing I like about fighting is the cheorgraphy. How people dodge, how they counter attack. But with this, it's just one person doing a combine, then he gets wrecked. Another thing is the humor. How Saitama reacts to his opponents and fellow heroes is funny, but gets boring quick. The plot is unique sure, but it uses so many shoen anime tropes, that it gets tiring. That my take on One Punch Man.

One Punch Man is a parody with the whole plot and character development outlaid in the first episode.

^ this, admitting it's a great anime is ok, especially for the visuals and for the original idea, but if someone states that it's their favourite anime it's likley that they missed out what's the message the Anime is trying to display...

Its not the best anime ever. Not at all.

But, its alot of fun to watch... and in the end that is what matters. You can't just want to watch the "best anime ever" and then disdain everything else that isnt "the best anime ever". You are limiting yourself.

People love to exagerate in the internet to get visibility.

It's an opinion. Everyone has different tastes. It may be a good anime but it can never be the best because there is no "best" anime.

You shouldn't take the anime too serious, it is just fun to watch. ;)
