Forums - Website Topics - Making your dashboard relevant again

Good day my good residents of VGC!

- Are you tired of seeing a review of Mass Effect 3 as the latest article from gamrReview?

- Are the software charts from 2011 losing your interest after 5 years of looking at them?

- Does seeing obsolete services like gamrFeed and gamrTV  available to display on your dashboard make you think this site has been abandonned by its owner once he found other younger and sexier projects?

Well if you answered yes to one of these questions, I have good news for you! I've been fiddling around with the dashboard page ( http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com ) today and I've cleaned it up a little.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

First of all, boxes for gamrTV, gamrFeed and Tracked Games are gone. Those services have been dead for a while and there's no need to let them linger in your dashboard.

Second order of business, the "Lastest from VGChartz" section has been revamped to um... well... show the latest numbers from VGChartz! Kinda fitting don't you think?

And finally, the "Latest from gamrReview" section has been renamed "Latest articles" and you can now get articles that have been written after 2011. That's right! You can get the latest articles from our team of writers in the categories that interest you (articles, news, previews, reviews and sales) right there on your dashboard!

Looking at it, I appreciate the update, although I removed the defunct sections from my dashboard ages ago. I added the article box in, and I think my only complaint with it is that it just doesn't look very pretty:

That aside, I still feel the dashboard is somewhat irrelevant, now more than ever with basically everything it can offer being available right on the homepage.

Nice work truckmeister

Nice improvements, never used any of the deleted servieces and honeslty I never even felt the necessity to do so...

Thank you very much TruckOSaurus. You are an irreplaceable asset to this community.

Edit: You fixed it

But seriously, thanks for updating the dashboard. Everytime I found it I used to wonder if anyone remembered it exists.
