That Zelda engine is the same modified Mario64 one that they used since OoT, iirc. Hopefully the new one is done in a completely new engine. Even engineers are lazy!

I like how it looks brighter than the original gamecube/Wii game. I still have no intentions of getting it though, considering all the (actually) new games coming out this year.

I'm not sure if the GameCube games still shared the same engine as the N64 ones, could be at their core, but yes, at least Twilight Princess ran on the same engine as Wind Waker did, that's a certainty.
