If you had to choose 2 then you will be able to get you hands on the most amount of games with the Wii U and PS4 combo. But that doesn't mean they have the most amount of games you want to play on. For my taste, the perfect combo for me is PS4 and XB1.

False. PC has more exclusives then both combined. Now like you say, if they are games people are interested in or not are another thing.

But thats why the best combo for a person doesnt come down to the amount of games a system has but the amount that person wants to play.

PC is in the mix also? We'll that complicates things. A combo of PC or any console will give you access to probably the same amount of games.

If I could afford a decent PC my combo would be PC and PS4. PS4 just narrowly wins it though because I prefer a few more exclusives on it compared to the other two

Yeah Ruler said PC is included just no handhelds lol. But PC+PS4 would be my main 2 aswell if i was going to pick just 2 gaming devices, but i always try to end up owning all the consoles each gen before the next one starts (Going to be a bit late this time if the rumors of the NX coming soon are true lol xD) .

But really like you and others have said, a gaming system can have a million games and only 2 you want to play well another one could have 20 games but 10 you want to play. so really i guess it comes down to what your into lol.

That's spot on. Personally I would be happy with any console + PC combo. PS4 just edges it with what their exclusive offerings appealing more to me.

PC+ PS4. thats the best combo

+access to most games and exclsuives

+acess to 99% of  all Japanese games

+best performing console versions

+allmost all games avaible on the Disc

Tell me what you think

Thats not a plus for everyone. People dont like having to look for discs when they want to play a game some people like having them games just on their system linked to their account. For instance if i go around to my friends house i dont have to carry a bunch of games with me i can just log into my account and all my games are there spanning countless gens..

I fail to see how they wouldnt match. Does wiiu not have digital games? does PC not have physical games??. What if a user likes to collect his games digitally on PC or on his consoles??

PS4 + Wii U is good but this gen PS4 + NX might be better especially if it's backward compatible or if they port many of the U games to it.

PS4 + PC is also good.

But personally I'm going with PS4 + PSVR this gen as long as the thing doesn't cost €500.

So your picking a console plus its VR add on as the best comb over 2 consoles? O_o . You do know many of them PSVR games (At least most of all the big name ones if not them all) will be playable without a PSVR unit?.

Yes because it suits my needs best.  I will never get another console because my ps4 fills my needs nicely.  Just like the ps3 did.

But the PSVR is completely different and provides and experience that is way different than my ps4 so for once I can justify two purchases.

Wii U + 3DS is the best combo as far as "only two systems" is concerned.

Wii U + PC, Next would be Wii U + PS4, After that then Wii U + XB1

Any of those dual combos covers most of gaming this gen, have fun ;)

But you could of just included it with the PS4. I think the point of the thread was to pick 2 statinory gaming devices (Handhelds are not included cos of this, and the same holds true for the VR unit). In other words you need a PS4 anyways for the PSVR so you might as well included it as one and then picked a 2nd system, even if the PS4 suits all your needs.

Otherwise not really much point in suger coating your first post. You should of just flat out said "I dont need another gaming system PS4 suits all my needs and id sooner get the VR unit for the PS4 then another console".

I'd go with PC then.  but I don't care if the thread asked for what you said.  I thought I'd contribute that ps VR will be like my second console.  Which it will.  I'm sure some find that opinion interesting and others don't.

If you mean by being able to play most games without missing out much, i think the best combo would be a PC/Nintendo combo.

I have a PC, Wii U and a 3DS. I've though about picking a Vita but since the Danganronpa games are ported on Steam, it's not really necessary anymore. I think I'm done with these three machines.

Except this is silly!!. PSVR is "NOT" a 2nd console!!!. ITS a Head Display unit, or a tv stuck to your face, or an device add on, or whatever you want to call it but its not a "Console".

Can you use the PSVR without the PS4??.

Does the PSVR come with its own game medium such as discs or sd cards that stores its games on it??.

Like i said in another thread you guys would believe any marketing talk..

To me it is.  I'm defining it as a second console and I'm not the only one.  It's providing me with a completely different experience so it's why I'll get it as my second console.  If I bought and x1 for example I'd just be getting more of the same.

So to me PSVR is more of a second console then the others will ever be.
