Forums - Nintendo Discussion - NX to use amiibos confirmed?

no, that idea that nintendo's next system won't have physical media is a bunch of propaganda. nintendo isn't going to force that on everybody,  it's just nonsense

You clearly don't understand the meaning of propaganda.

The only thing about NX that is confirmed is that these senseless threads about NX suck.

Of course it's gonna use amiibo. They're not gonna make people buy replacements for a new console. When the Wii U is gone, Nintendo will just package everything under the NX brand. The underlying tech in those figures probably won't change at all.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Just look at the money Amiibos make, of course NX will support them, Nintendo would be crazy not to!

No it wont use amiibo, most people don't use them for games and most amiibo are super hard to find so there's little use or need to lock exclusive game content behind them. That's what I would say if Nintendo wasn't a greedy sob.

I am 100% sure NX will use amiibos.

i heard a rumor that the NX will lack a power button but rather will be turned on with amiibos. there will be specific amiibos you have to use for each day of the week and then special limited edition amiibos required for play on holidays like christmas, halloween, and martin luther king day.

I think there's no need of a confirmation. It's pretty much guaranteed. There are like, what, 12-13M amiibos sold out there, I think it would be very foolish to not use them. And they definitely should do a Nintendo "Infinity".

Actually it sold over 21 million WW!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Yes, but the NFC scan will be on the conasole to reduce the costs of the controller.
