Forums - Nintendo Discussion - The ONLY reason I'm buying Twilight Princess HD is because I never played it before.

I'm buying 2 of them. One for the amiibo and one to scalp 😈.

Are you joking? The motion controls in TP were before motion plus, meaning it was a waggle stick and they were terrible. The MC in SS were fantastic and that was the (along with Metroid prime) defining game for motion controls. I LOVED having a 1:1 control over the sword in that game. It was amazing and I'll miss it going in the future.

They worked as well as motion controls can and made sense, nothing terrible there. You don't have to constantly stop playing the game to recalibrate it for things it shouldn't even be used for. Also you criticises TP's sword control but then turn around and praise SS's even though both games have you doing the same thing, waggling a stick around.

Can we stop calling this a remake? Remakes are when you create an entirely new game, based on the original. Remasters are when you clean up the visuals for a new display format.

In movie terms: Godzilla 2014 is a remake. The Criterion Bluray of Godzilla 1954 is a remaster.

I dont buy remasters because i played a game before or the game doesnt deserve the remaster

REQUIESCAT IN PACE

I Hate REMASTERS

I Hate PLAYSTATION PLUS

That's the only good reason to shell out 50 bucks for this lazy port.

It's a good game that deserves to be played, but it would have been nice to have a game that truly looks like a game from this gen, and they fixed some of the problems of the original, that would have granted a 50 dollars price.

This port just deserve 20$, now you are going to tell me: "but there is an amiibo and a CD", I don't want it, keep it and sell me the game for 20 bucks.

It may not look that good by todays standards but compared to the original the difference is huge, The removal of the jaggies and blurry textures alone makes a world of difference

I´m buying it because last time I played was like 9 years ago, I dont even own a copy of the game anymore and even if I had it I would not play it because it looks blurry as hell and I would like to play it without motion controls this time.

I have just barely played the original, so I´m getting this one too.

Not interested in buying a used copy of the Wii version. This one seems better without the motion controls and with an exclusive amiibo.

Good for you.

I think everyone that hasn't played it 10 years ago shoudl buy it now.

And everyone that loved it back then should get it now - like I will.

I don't think the motion controls issues mentioned above are so bad - i am not a pro gamer - I mean I buy most games but I am not pro nor i want to be - you can see my lack of skills in games like Smash - siad so i haven't had any issue with TP at the time.

The graphic yes - agreed it isn't as WOW like many other games - but like I said in some other post in here - the game is very recent probably too recent to see a big difference.

I am still happy with this being released. it is TP 10th annyversary and Zelda 30th - if you think that the Nintendo select of this came out with the 25th annyversary logo - it just make snese to have it once again imo.

Switch!!!

All of those HD remakes from last gen/this get that got a free pass? Leave Brittany alone!
