Certain topics have been done to death but we keep getting new threads about them. Let's list the overused thread topics so that people know to stay away from them.  For me, the threads I'm tired of are

-Xb1 Tomb Raider sales sucked

-The Force Awakens sucked because

-You are president/In charge of ________. How would you fix them?

-List the thread topics you are tired of seeing

-How do we get more females on the site

People should be forbidden from using these topics! The conversations aren't bad. Often times, quite entertaining. We just have so many of the same threads! Can you think of any others?

They don't need to be forbidden. The people who don't want to discuss those subjects will not post in those threads. And if enough people don't want it, they won't get posts, and those type of threads will stop being made. And obviously you can't force people to change their mind about what kind of threads they want to make/post in, so if someone wants a certain kind of thread to die out, the best they can do is not post in them and hope they die out.

How about threads complaining about amiibos? :p

I agree with the females one. I think I've seen that thread being done like 4 or 5 times since I first started lurking this place.

True. I doubt they'd ever really stop people from making these threads. Unless it's a "dupe thread" released about the same time as another thread, that is. This thread is mostly for fun.

These threads are just listing shit. Make threads that encourage discussion and not just listing.

"Nintendo can/can't make a comeback with the NX"

It's remarkable how much debate has taken place surrounding Nintendo's chances with the NX when we don't know its specs, release date, or even its dang name lol.


"Wii U is a failure"

This seems to spring up about once a month and everyone always says the same things: one group points out that it is indeed a commercial failure, while the other points out its still a really fun system. Not sure why we still need to discuss this.


Actually, most of the other ones that come to mind are related to nintendo as well... People love to either hate on nintendo or defend them it seems.

Gotta say I wouldn't mind a break from the trump threads either, but I don't see that happening :p
