Forums - Politics Discussion - Climate Change: What's your take?

That's mainly because people are crowded around eachother more in colder weather but those are nothing compared to west nile virus, lyme disease, cholera, malaria, dengue and probably more. Bacteria in general, thrives in warmer weather.

This study shows that there's efficiency to be had in viruses replicating in colder parts of the body ...

Again your very far away from concluding that the effects of climate change will negatively skew the spread of diseases ...

There is no "take" to have.

Shit's happening. Regardless of whether you believe human beings are the main cause because of pollution (hint: we are), shit's happening. The United States is just about the ONLY developed nation on the face of the Earth with a sizable portion of the population that actually argues over whether or not Climate Change is even happening, let alone what is causing it. And that is not only insane, it's frightening.

So, sorry "climate deniers", but this is not a subjective issue up for debate. Climate change is happening, and we are the primary cause. If you disbelieve that, it is only because you are willfully ignorant. (And that was me being nice).

that's right, it's an "educated guess" - the difference is that your scenario of a positive change is merely a "hope"

An alarmist here are we ?

Just so you know what I also put out was an "educated guess" too but I guess there's no appealing to everyone ...

2nd biggest city in the most populated country of Africa, an average high of over 100F in April in a country with a GDP per capita below $2800.

And why are we talking only about Africa?

Why not talk about Africa ?

It's the hottest continent to cover the majority of the extreme cases ...

Maybe you should be more constructive when attempting to quickly dismiss an argument ...

I'm talking about Africa, you're the one excluding everywhere else.

Wasn't my intention ...

I was just focusing on Africa and you forget about the benefits of less deaths due from freezing ...
