My income is somewhat variable year by year, went by what I made last year, which was a fair bit less than I had made the year before, and got .0009%. Wealth is apparently at .006%.

Are you adopting adult males?

I think a lot of you are forgetting that most of the people in the world live in really poor conditions, countries with the absolute most people like China and India have a huge share of their population living with really small amounts of money, almost the whole African continent countries and most of it's residents as well and to a lesser extent the same with Central and South America.
The % of the population who live with a confortable amount of money income and can spend with hobbies such a most of people here are indeed part of a small fraction of the humanity, which is around 7 billion people.

Even if the result seems really absurd, it is not vey far from the truth at all.

There are a TON of poor countries in the world.

I got 0.06% for income and 0.02% for wealth.

I broke the top 1,000,000, but it doesn't feel like it in NYC.

Using my parents numbers got 0.04%. Damn, I should have asked for more expensive gifts last birthday.
