You clearly fail to undestand the point. The point is, most people who inhabit the internet think they're not rich, but when they look at their income or wealth position relative to the world they actually realise how close to the top they really are. And the fact that the vast majority of the world has to try to survive on much much less should be food for thought and get people to think about whether our current economic models really are the best thing for everyone. It certainly seems to have worked well for a very small number of people, but for the vast majority of people not so much.

“The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.” - Bertrand Russell

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."

A mere top 15% for me though I think the calculator may be biased to rate you higher than you actually are. It does things like tell you to include student loans (which I didn't because that's debt with interest, the opposite of income) and doesn't factor in the cost of living for your country.

Also checking online my monthly salary would in no way would pay a few dozen doctors in Pakistan given that they earn $1600-$5300 per month.

I'm 15, so used my parents numbers for fun. That puts "me" at 0.07% for income and 2.72% for wealth.

I live in Norway though, so I'm cheating

Yet they only buy you 6 games a year

My parents don't buy me any games because I'm not a spoiled brat :-O

I mean come on, I'm 15, my parents aren't gonna pay for my video games :-O

I'm in the top one percent...
But I live in New York City, where an annual income like mine puts a person close to the poverty line...
I started my current job a few months ago...
Before I got this job, I was barely making enough to afford the cheapest Obamacare option in New York State...

Have a nice day...

You’re in the top
0.48%
richest people in the world by income.
That makes you the
28,793,655th
richest person on earth by income

Not even a single 69 anywhere :(

1.37 if my income was only based on 40 hours. I work 56 a week, so I'm more .9

Well I voted bottom 50% before taking the test because well im an idiot. Apparently Im in the top 10% O__O
Fuck people live so damn poor.

Done it and it put me in the top 2.5%. Problem is these things do not take living costs into consideration.

My mortgage and utility bills alone eat up £700 every month. Wealth should be in accordance to the amount of disposable income you have.
