I don't understand this mentality that many WiiU owners will be angry and feel betrayed if Zelda ends up on NX too. If the game skipped WiiU altogether then sure, but I don't think anyone expects that.

I don't remember Gamecube owners being particularly upset over the Twilight Princess situation other than they had to wait three weeks longer to play it if they couldn't find a Wii.

It seems to me that the 2 platform strategy of TP paid off, it helped to sell a few millions more than MM, WW or SS. I really doubt that it would have reached even 5 million on GameCube only.

 

If both platforms performed well I'd see your point, but that isn't the case is it.

You are right about the last part and that's why Zelda has to be available for NX as well. Nintendo shouldn't piss off their fans by trying to force them to buy a Wii U.

They don't have to buy a wii u to enjoy LoZ. There are plenty of other consoles that have LoZ, and the NX will have one too. They only have to get a Wii U to play Zelda U.

Yep, the Zelda fans who got a Wii U when it was announced for a 2015 release would not be angry. I am the single lone entity that would be upset. Lol.

It will be available on the NX. Thats most likely why the game was pushed back. The optimal version. Word is that the NX is 900p so Yeah, I think that will be the better version of the launch cross /platform exclusives.

It probably will be an NX title. If 2015 taught me anything is that Nintendo doesn't give a crap about a lot of things, lol.

U still get the game though, the Wii U version doesn't lose its value just because there is also an NX version. It's an unjustified complaint.
