Pikmin 3 is definitely among my favorite Wii U games, it's just that I don't think it's the best :p





My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Splatoon, XCX and Fire Emblem: Awakening spring to mind immediately. If that happens then you're probably on to a winner.

Given that though I'd probably have to give it to Splatoon, thanks to the sheer innovation on offer. XCX is an excellent followup to an already excellent game, the same for Awakening. Whereas Splatoon came out and did something totally different and caught me (like many others) off guard. We need more of that nowadays.

Best 3DS game would be Link Between Worlds.

My favorite this gen has been Splatoon, Kid Icarus Uprising, and Mario 3D World. DKC: Tropical Freeze is pretty good too.

Xeno X has an ending that is so perfect, its hard not to say that game.... But then what about the surprise games that had flopped hard and rated poorly critically, yet were masterpieces in their own right like W101, and Fatal Frame Maiden Of Black Water.... Completely underappreciated games that will be corner stones of my Wii U experience...

It's hard to choose, because there are some many great games. However I think Zelda a Link Between two worlds is one of the best ones so far. I wasn't expecting that a portable Zelda could be as good as it is. But Mario Kart 8, Luigi Mansion 3DS and even Mario 3D world are superb.
