Is microsoft flooding the market with too many bundle's?

Yes! They should cut back! 61 65.59%

No! If anything, they should have more! 32 34.41%

Total:93

No, but they should make bundles that are base on anticipated games like what they did with the Division and not like games such as Rainbow Six: Siege. Hopefully they make a bundle for Quantum Break as well. Also make them more 500 GB and less 1T.

Proud to be a Californian.

These things are horrible advertised. It literally seems like putting a disc in a box and saying the job is done.

The amount of bundles in my opinion kind of hurt the brand. A bundle should be something unique. These are like that bundles that Sony did including 6 games on Vita that also didn't help with sales. I mean, it's a good way to save money, but it also sounds cheap.

And that green color doesn't even match the game design. They did way better job customizing the 360, because if you can't compete with price, at least give originality to your brand.

3DS, Wii, PSP, Vita, PS2, PS3, PS4 & Steam.

Halo 5 bundle is the only exception. That does seems nice.

3DS, Wii, PSP, Vita, PS2, PS3, PS4 & Steam.

Along with the day 1 edition, that's like 14 different possible console skus.

Yup, that sounds like a serious issue. People might have bought an Xbox One instead of an Xbox One. A lost sale right there.

Sorry, but when you have 12 bundle's, of one of them is pulling in 3/4 of sales, its a lot of channel stuffing right there. If there is too much backlog, retailers cut back or write off excess stock. That's why they should only have 3-4.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Yes and No.

Yes there are too many in a given year, and it seems like every game that's potentially AAA is getting bundled into PS4 or XBO, with MS seeing to be trying to scoop up everything they can, while PS is nabbing what are pretty much going to be the best sellers of the year.

But if you look at what MS has been doing, there is a point at least once a year where MS has a buy a XBO get any game free during the fall (September - November, usually), and that's when they try to clear stock these bundles, then the remaining SKUs are discounted during Black Friday.

So if it's bringing them sales, and helping with promotions, then No there isn't a problem. But there are a lot of them, and it would help if there was more incentive suck as a themed controller / console, or DLC voucher into the bundles that are priced at normal retail value.

With the tom clancy bundle, we now have 12 bundle's from Microsoft! That is far too much, and I worry Microsoft canibalized sales of some bundle's because of this. They need to cut back to just 3-4 bundle's, and start fresh. Standard Halo 5 bundle at 349, this tom clancy bundle, and perhaps a quantum break bundle. Either way, this strategy of just shoving a dozen bundle's into the market is failing them, as the Gears bundle is the only one that's selling. The rest are just sitting there on the shelves.

These are tyhe only bundles they should have right now

I remember reading in a thread someone was saying how MS didn't have enough or as many bundles as the PS4, and now they have too many. I don't even see how it's an issue to begin with. Simply more options.

Flooding the market causes consumer confusion, and uses way too much shelf space. That's why only 1-2 bundle's sold well, and the rest were sent to die.

Yes. Choice is good, but some of the choices they offer are very questionable sometimes. A standard Halo bundle and the one of four game choice bundle would be nice for the current default units. Xbox Ones are still pretty expensive, and a poor choice in title to match with the system is the difference between ending up in someone's home, and sitting on the shelf waiting for a discount. The specialty bundles like the Elite and Halo units should be an online only move.

The Gears bundle is the most popular bundle by far, that goes to show they could be using a little more strategy when it comes to choosing these packages.
