Bloodborne will never be a 10 million seller, unless they dumb it down alot, for people like myself, whom have no patience to do the same thing over and over again.

Only Hardcore gamers purchase BloodBorne, because is too dificult for the majority of the Gamers [img]http://s2.glbimg.com/IrddFggv5QxqOiHm_n1xwk7Sf6M=/0x0:1024x576/695x391/s.glbimg.com/po/tt2/f/original/2015/04/16/image_bloodborne-priest_gascoigne2-1024x576.jpg[img]

I tried it, after not liking the Souls games for their difficulty, still to difficult for somebody like myself, who isn't hardcore. I play alot of games, but i have no patience for stuff like that. Hell, i don't even have enough patience for the MGS games anymore, with all of the stealth.

Yes, i have never played Metal Gear Solid games before, and now i'm playing the first games and they are very hard.

I'll give one for each platform because equal opportunity and everything.

Wii U - Kirby & The Rainbow Curse
3DS - Codename S.T.E.A.M.
PS4 - Tearaway Unfolded
PSV - Persona 4 Dancing All Night (I guess)
XBO - Halo 5: Guardians (for most other franchises these sales would be fine, but it isn't on par for Halo)

Overall I'd say either Tearaway or Codename STEAM is the winner. Neither had massive expectations, but I'm fairly certain both Sony and Nintendo expected more than 200k for them.

Official Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Thread

Based on the criteria:

hype, marketing and expectations

Rise of the tomb raider.  I'm not saying 1 million is bad but this game was hyped big time with article after article even benefiting from lots of articles on the mobile tomb raider game which was odd to see so much press for a mobile game

I find the tearaway mentions interesting as I didn't see much in the way of marketing behind it, very little if any hype from the press or comment boards (heck most of the time the press forgot to mention it was releasing on their comparison holiday lineups) and I certainly didn't have high expectations because of those factors.

l <---- Do you mean this glitch Gribble?  If not, I'll keep looking.

I am on the other side of my sig....am I warm or cold?

Tearaway unfolded, it bombed even harder than W101, which I did not think was possible on PS4.

you're comparing a late port to an original game? ok

A late port of a game that switched form a 10 milions userbase to one with 35 milions (and growing) and released at reduced price yet it sold 200k :S

How is MGSV in this conversation?? Why did anyone expect massive series growth??
It was the last game in the franchise so a lot of new players were highly unlikely and then on top of that it had terrible PR around it that even fans of the series in droves decided to skip this one as to not hand money over to Konami.
According to VGC its already at 4.4m with an extra 800k over on Steam according to Steam Spy.
I dont see how a game selling over 5m in 5 months in a series that only just breaks 6m is a failure.

Xenoblade X, rise of the tomb raider, tearaway unfolded and codename steam. I couldn't narrow it down to just 1

Youre confusing bad PR with good PR

PR is PR, no matter how good or bad it is. The game did great numbers, but it was hyped to sell more. Bear in mind that people love controversies, which this game had plenty before releasing, and it got critical acclaim from almost everywhere.

not really, you had people here advocating to boycotting it because of Konami.

But VGC isn't representative of the general consumer.
