Just like the title says, I really feel like I am going to envy Xbox One owners next year: the current one and the one that will be buying the system this year and specially the ones that live in the US.
It is all said and done that PS4 is going to run away with this generation and it seems like they have even secure the US. Xbox One will have some very good exclusives released in 2016 but the PS4 exclusives and diversity cannot be match, and it is not even close. You guys remember the Destiny week? Buy Xbox One and get a game of your choice. I think the same kind of deal was also available when Black Ops 3 launched too. The PS4 is basically selling itself without Sony having to do much really and with the line up in 2016, they are going to sell a lot, a lot and a lot more and Sony will barely offer deals (except maybe Knack free on PS+) .MS will try to counter by offering some good deals, and crazy bundle around the time that a lot of the PS4 exclusives will launch. So while I will be enjoying the games for certain, I will surely miss the deals and I will envy the deals that Xbox One owners will have, because MS have to make sure to keep current Xbox One owners don't go and buy a PS4 and forgot about the Xbox One.
