I was planning on playing Grandia II for the pc.

I grew up playing Sega and Nintendo as my very first gaming experiences, but PSX changed everything. I have yet to be disappointed with a PlayStation console. I tried Nintendo again, I tried Xbox and I tried PC but I always end up coming back to PS as my main gaming device every generation. Still a lot of great memories of N64 and SNES though. Nintendo completely lost me with the Wii.

My platform preference tends to change

3rd and 4th gen - Nintendo

5th and 6th gen - Playstation

7th gen - Microsoft

8th gen - ????

I'm really lost this gen, right now I don't have a strong preference 

Nintendo for the most part. I own Playstation platforms for 3rd party games, but most of the 1st party titles aren't really to my taste.

Nintendo hands down. Last gen Sony was second place for me but this gen it's Microsoft as I find the Xbox One has managed to keep a steady flow of great exclusives compared to PS4 ( minus Bloodborne because Bloodborne is amazing).

Nintendo and Sony. Though Nintendo is closer to my heart. They just produce the most enjoyable content for me, personally.
I don't know why, but Xbox has just never really clicked with me. It will usually get a couple of interesting/exciting (to me anyways) looking games a year, but the majority of the library is just not for me.
