ok guys, i know this has been done to death, but im going to put together a small list of characters that have been criminally robbed from having a place in smash since the gamecube era. these are characters who should have made an appearance in melee or brawl at the very least and should have stuck around for future iterations. i honestly dont know how these characters go unnoticed by nintendo, but lets just go ahead and get started:
king k rool
he is the villain in donkey kong. how could he not get a spot by now? fucking MII brawlers got a spot before king k rool. and thats bullshit.
banjo-kazooie
come on nintendo, get your shit together. this character should have been in it since melee, and we all know it.
midna
if youve played twilight princess, you know this would be a bad ass character. she has a giant ORANGgE hand that comes out of her skull. come on now.
chewbacca
is there anything i really need to say? the exclusion of chewbacca for all these years is fucking bullshit.
rocky balboa
the world's greatest fighter, and he isnt even in the world's greatest fighting game. what. the. fuck.
metal mario
metal mario has been a staple of the mario series since 1996. cant believe he still is not a playable character from the select screen.
old anakin/young anakin
they did old link and young link. why cant they do the same thing for anakin skywalker? its bullshit.
and finally:
indiana jones
not enough brawlers in the game. this is moreso to just bring balance to the roster than anything, but he is still a character that has needed to be in smash for at least a decade. the fact that they are including cloud, bayonetta, that extra fire emblem character, ryu, etc. before indiana jones and anyone else on this list for that matter is just ridiculous.
