Quite a slow start. What was the total sales for 2014 and 2015?

Please stay in your Nintendo lane if you are not going to read.  For 2016 the weeks are not aligned properly.

Yeah, like, if he was going to read that would change anything about his comments....

@Dr. Vita For charting purposes, I would start 2016 for media create at week 2 so its shows its properly alignment.  Its up about 10k over last year.

Nicely nestled between 2014 and 2015 if you take week 53 of 2015 as week 1 of 2016. It's very early days, but factoring in the games due in 2016 bodes well for a yoy increase.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Minecraft helped the vita achieve flat y/y sales.  This year, with the strong start, there is still a change to be flat to up y/y (price cut, games, kencolle, etc) itll be an interesting year for sure!

Not only that.

- Odin Sphere

- Dragon Quest Builders

-Dragon Quest Heroes 2

-Toukiden 2

-Saga Scarlet Grace

-Hatsune Miku Project Diva X

And who knows what else. Some good guesses should be Dynasty Warriors 9, price cut, new colors and maybe even a new model.

2016 sure looks promising. If the Vita manages to sell 1m again by the end of the year, that would mean more support from developers and happier players!

The explanations helped out a lot. At first, I thought the vita was dropping fast. Quite a relieve in a sense. There are also more Vita games upcoming. World of Final Fantasy and Project Setsuna ( full name setsuna no yuki no ikenie something) among the ones i can think of now. Ah, also Digimon Next Order and Summon Night 6. 2016 is quite packed with games.

Summon Night 6 is also a game that can sell well.

World of Final Fantasy is a bit tricky. It can be a hit or miss.

There are actually a ton more games than that coming for the vita,  both small medium and large.  Promises to be a good year for sales but more importantly for vita owners.

I know but i couldn't list all the games. It's possible that there are some big announced games too.

Ya, kinda having somewhat high hopes for Summon Night 6. Summon Night 5 sold rather well for a dying handheld on its way out. Well, World of Final Fantasy is Square Enix's first final fantasy for Vita, so hope it does well enough for more vita support from sq-en.
