Looks like I will be picking up the PC subscription and letting my Xbox One subscription expire.

It's almost a shame, EA access was one of the reasons I still play my Xbox One....

Really?, considering the size of Origin's library it seems awfully tiny and paltry to go with such a sub.

I sense the deal being better with X1 than it's likely ever going to be for PC.

Well the other main reason I liked EA access was the 10 hours of full game access.  Which is no longer the case. Unravel gives you access to 2 levels for 10 hours. Which sounds like a demo to me.

I actually prefer the PC selection, and assume it will only get bigger over time.

The PC selection is so tiny though and we haven't even ehard a peep from EA on older titles being brought to Origin besides those that are dished out via "on the house".

I'll never see a reason to sub tbh, even for time contrained limits, I'd rather wait for the game to get cheaper with time and then buy it to own it. The whole demo aspect doesn't mean much to me considering demos used to be a free part of gaming (really they should still be) and these days I do my own research on a game before buying to know if it's really for me.

On PC there is always a way to demo games which is one of the things I miss about PC gaming. With my PS4 the only option I have is to go to gamestop and buy a used copy try it out and then decide if I like it or not. If not? Now I have to back to gamestop and return it. Such a pain in the ass.

I know some few would suggest piracy but I don't really condone such an option, though whenever a demo does show up like with Undertale on a devs website or via being on a client like Steam, I will take up on that chance, I just feel like paying for access to what amounts to a demo trial doesn't really feel as being worth it.

I do remember my times on the 360 when I wanted to try some older titles I would pop to my local GAME and check the bargin bin for some games I'd never ehard of but wanted to try out. Man do I miss those days where I'd buy a PS1 magazine and get that those demos that I'd spend countless hours playing with, even then me and some mates used to trade our different demo disks which allowed us all to try out different games without even having to buy all the mags at the time, of course that was back before the net was even popular so having a circle of mates was always a good thing when it came to game gossip and game sharing. Technically you can do game sharing on Steam but you have to add an account you know to authorize the sharing, only downside to that is you can't play the same game at the same time (I believe).

Wow, EA truly is sneaky. That is so not worth it.

First, it's 4 Euros per month, which becomes almost 50 Euros in just one year.

Second, Battlefield 4 Deluxe edition doesn't include the map packs other than China Rising, and the subscription for some reason doesn't include Crysis 3.

And last but not least, Dragon Age: Inquisition stinks.

lol why would all the games include DLC? Especially a money maker like Battlefield? That's like expecting PS+ and GWG games to all have complete DLC.

The only downside to the PC service is there's no annual subscription option yet, only $5 a month. This might be due to them opening the service up to other publishers on PC. There is an Ubisoft game on that list.
