i reject the notion that women are an underprivileged gender in western/modern society and raise the point that in many regards they are actually (demonstrably) privileged over half of the population for the simple fact they are born with a vagina.

That's the story of the girl in the video but I don't think the intent was to suggest that every fiance will ultimately turn evil bastard and beat his wife. If that's what you got from it, it's probably because the format used is confusing. The unborn girl talking to her dad angle is a weird one and transforms the tale of one girl who deals with abuse into a broad generalizations.

If I thought the video really suggested that all men are pigs, bullies, rapists, wife-beaters I would be just as angry as you are but I really don't believe that's the case.

The problem is that it's a cautionary tale that portrays men as evil in every single insurance they arise. Not as friends, or as children who are just as confused as the girl. As monsters who want sex and obedience. Not once did it say any man was good, not did it point out the evils of other women. Girls are peer pressured into sex just as much as men, women verbally and mentally abuse women more than men. Where's the warning for that? 

There is none. Because this video is about demonizing men, not informing women.

theres a need for more equality between sexes , races etc therefore movements such as feminsim and other equality movements are still needed , helpful and relevant

As someone tired of most feminists, especially femist men who worship women as some kind of gods, and as someone sick and tired of seeing men acting like doormats in their relationships (seriously every single one of my friends), I can tell you you're blowing things way out of proportion. The video is nowhere near as bad as you make it to be. The message is, it all starts as a joke. As a father, don't call women who are promiscuous "whores" and don't accept it when your son does (the video should add, or when your daughter does). It starts as a joke and then becomes  a mentality that men grow up with. Saying to a woman "go make me a sandwitch" sounds harmless but it's not.

Yeah, because the video did such a great job at not putting all man in the same basket.

They should try to change women, not men. We as women act as we see the others. I have two friends that are very different in their actions and the way they let others see them. One is the typical women that acts as a defenseless and cute girl and the other is a hole women with tremendous self-esteem. All guys like to hit on the first and all have afraid or feel intimidated to talk to the second.

Women trying to change man... Is as old as men trying to understand women. It's time to realize it's not possible. The way it's for women to change themselfs, resulting in we as man changing the way we look at women.
