Somehow recently i been getting more hyped for Zelda U. I started to realise that we preatty much no nothing about the game, and that makes it even more exciting.  So i had some ideas i wish Zelda U had. These are new ideas and previously seen in zelda games or others.

5: Alot of different transportation options

So in Zelda we have seen loftwings, trains, pirate ships, horses and beyblades lol. And we already know Epona or some horse is coming back but i also wish those other came back aswell. Like i thought about aerial transportation, and would'nt it be cool if at some point in the game Link can obtain a Dragon? To ride on and so on. That would be freaking awsome.

Also idk if trains should come back. But i definetly want a ship. Like a big sailing ship at a harbour wich Link can buy or join a crew and customise the ship. and travel around with it and so on would be really cool. Fight big kraken like creatures out on the Sea, and looking at the map of Zelda U. It seems theres alot of Sea.

Other transportation could be like a chariot or something.

4: Lots of sidequests but also a long interesting main story

Aounuma said its gonna be the most amibtious Legend of Zelda game to date. Wich says alot. I dont know what he means by that. If he means just the overworld or maybe something else aswell? Like the story, sidequests, dungeons, items so on.  Majoras Mask has the best sidequests of any Zelda game to date and that Anju and Kafei sidequest still gives me the feels when i think about it. I want more quests like those in Zelda games. Sidequests that should be long, interesting and have some importance to the game itself. I do not know what a could main interesting story would be. There are very different ways for that. I think Twilight Princess had the best story in a Zelda game. Even though it was not fantastic i do not need a Last of Us story. I just want something '' Nintendo esque''.

3: Multiple towns/villages

The Adventure of Link had alot of different towns. Wich was one of my favourite parts of that game. Though these days most of those towns look the same. In the past Zelda games we only had just one town. Was it Kakariko village,Clockwork town, skyloft, Hyrule castle town. I want more than just one town. I want as many towns and villages that it should be realistic and lifelike. Some towns may have some reputations with bandits, or strange werewolves at nights attacking. Kinda like the Alien invasion from Majoras Mask. I know all my requests sound alot asking. And a bit difficult to do in that time. But we already seen on the map of Zelda U one town icon. Wich might mean many more towns to appear in the game. I just hope all towns have something unique to them. Be it, its location or history or even culture.

2: Return of spells

Another thing i loved about Zelda 2 was it spells. Ocarina of time used them aswell but only 3. And ALttP had those badges. We have already seen a magic meter in Zelda U. So alot of different kind of spells should definetly be in the game. Like in Zelda 2. Also in the 10 sec snippet from the november Direct link was carrying a book. BOOK of spells hopefully.

1: Countless things to do in the overworld

This is a given. Hopefully. And something that they will probably think of. How they will solve it remains to see. but monolith soft is lending a helping hand towards the development of Zelda U. And Both xenoblade chronicles games have not very much to do in the overworld. But there are just so many things to see and exploration is probably their biggest strong point. But Zelda U should have lots of different monsters you could encounter out in the overworld. And that has already been bascailly confirmed. But in such a big world they have to come up with something other than just alot of monsters and caves.

So what did you think about my list? good or bad? Also post your own top  5 things you want to see in Zelda U.

5. I think they should implement things from other games like a train a little ship and ofc horse.

4. A lot of side quest but they should affect the main interesting story.

3. I hope they don't go with Twilight Princess but make it more like Majoras Mask when you can interact with the people. Something like how SS started where you can talk with the people

2. I could care less.

1. A lot of things to do will be a must. They should tie this into the story and sidequest.

Agree with most of them.

When it comes to sidequests, I just hope that they're mostly like the ones from Majora's Mask, and not really like some of the collect-a-thons from XCX.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

5) Sex mini-games

4) Curse words, I want Link to have tourette syndrome

3) Characters and enemies bleed

2) Final boss must be a creature made of feces

1) Link dies in the end

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

I have to say. Most affinity and normal missions in XCX are really fun. The standard missions and some Normal missions are just tedious where you have to collect those blue orbs. I dislike that. But they are mostly like filler quests. THey are just that. small fetch quests. Not sidequests. Affinity missions and some normal missions would be the sidequests in XCX. and there are some really cool normal missions. Like the maniac religious woman. Or the Xenophobe Alex. Those are all cool ongoing quests wich i kinda like and were very cool. Especially the last mission from those ''Alex the Xenophobe'' missions.

I think in terms of transportation, we could see Loftwings make a return from Skyward Sword.

I also agree with there being lots of towns. Since it's an open world, we probably will see a lot of different settlements, as per usual.

bet: lost

6. Crafting like in SS and ALBW but, more in depth but also not mandatory just giving you bonus/power ups (like the mia mias or whatever in ALBW)

5: Alot of different transportation options

We have a horse and a sailcloth. Any additional transport could be cool but really don't care that much. A loftwing would be cool though.

4: Lots of sidequests but also a long interesting main story

Agree. The sidequests in MM were awersome. If that greatness would be combined with a story as good as SS (which I loved) I would be really happy.

3: Multiple towns/villages

Would be nice. Of course Zelda usually gives each race a town which is cool. A few extra settlements here and there would be good.

2: Return of spells

Sure, why not.

1: Countless things to do in the overworld

Of course I want to see an amazing world with different monsters etc. But honestly I don't care that much about 'things to do' as such. You can do countless things, minigames etc., in GTA but I never really do most of them. I'm of course not against including such things, but for me it is more important that overworld sets the stage for the game's story and sidequests. Like in the WW there wasn't a whole lot to do on the ocean, except looking for treasure (which was fun) and exploring. But it provided an amazing setting.

Ideally, they somehow manage to transfer the idea of SS, in which the world (faron woods, eldin volcano, lanayru dessert) is basically a dungeon in itself, to the open world of Zelda U. Of course the scale is much larger so it can't be just like SS, and it seems like a huge challenge, but if they can implement some sort of dungeon/puzzle/whatever element to it that would be amazing. Aonuma stating he wants to put his own spin on an open world game is promising at least. I want Zelda U to bring something new and creative to table regarding open worlds.

NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, WiiU, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS, Mega Drive, Game Gear, PS1, PS2, PSP, XBOX 360, Atari Lynx

Your list sounds pretty good, though in addition to side quests, it would be great to have story side quests (like in DQIX) where there is a chain of sidequests that have their own story so it looks like you are progressing towards something, rather than having a trading sequence or something random
