This thread needs more pictures to make it interesting.

I'm from Gothenburg (Göteborg). The true capital of Sweden.

I think I might need to visit. lol

the picture is pretty misleading. Gothenburg is an ugly city haha.

Nightlife is great though.

Holy fuck is that ugly for you?!?!

Wait until you see what it looks like on the other side of the camera. Of course, I've never been in Sweden other than visiting Stockholm, but I'd suppose all the cities are more or less the same (due to financial reasons and how people have moved into cities since the 60's); the older architecture looks just great, but the modern boxes of concrete are just godawful.

Pretty much this. Gothenburg is all grey concrete and bricks. Stockholm looks much better than gothenburg because it has much more old buildings. Stockholm may win in the looks department, but gothenburg is still the better city :)

I like Sweden but Norway has you guys beat in architecture. Some of their old buildings look like it came out of fairy tales.

Ah, Norway's old wooden churches. They are awesome! They're as close as we'll ever get to seeing what viking architecture would have looked like.

I LOVE ICELAND!

I can talk about La Ronge, Saskatchewan, Canada (birthplace). Small town built around Lac La Ronge (big lake with an abundance of unexplored islands - you can find cave paintings from Aboriginals in them), part of the Canadian shield and the gateway to the north. Tons of wildlife and so many outdoor activities you can do. There are a few smaller lakes surrounding it with small communities, as well as some first nations. Sometimes we get a big forest fire that threatens the town (big one in 1999 and last summer that displaced around 5000(?) people). I try to visit there as much as I can.

I currently live in Lethbridge, Alberta; small city of around 90,000 mostly known for its railway bridge and coulees. It's a nice city full of lots of young people like myself, and we are quite close to Banff and the Rocky Mountains, but nothing will ever replace the North for me. It runs in my veins. Anyhow, some pictures:

I'm from Germany and quite surprised how many Germans are on here - did not expect that.

I'm originally from Dresden. <3

Sadly I had to leave and live near Berlin now, but I hope to return one day.
