I truly do not understand JEGA. Unless he is trying to be a troll, what does he get out of making these posts? He is constantly trying to sell the XB1; but he does it on a forum that has 0.0000001% of gamers that visit it.

They jumped in with the most power which was supposed to be similar to the quality of PC gaming on a console. Now they just try to mimic Sony's Playstation which is probably why we refer to them as the twins. Bungie was a huge factor for them but now is gone exclusively so there are not as many reasons to get an Xbox One when you can play these games with greater fidelity on a Sony or a PC. Really wish I could get Forza 6 on Steam though. :P Long story short, building a powerhouse console would have made the Xbox One sell more. |
They probably originally were making a stronger console than the PS4, but needed to drop the build cost so that they could add in the kinect for a launch price of $500.

Jega said: The Xbox One is a PC, therefore porting games from Xbox One to PC and visa-versa is simple as directx binds the two platforms. In other words, once a developer makes a game using directx, the game can be simply ported to Xbox One. When a developer makes a game using directx, they are not only developing a game for millions of PC gamers, but also millions of Xbox One gamers. From a developers standpoint the install-base is not just that of Xbox One but also of the PC. Which is a win-win situation for Microsoft and Xbox One gamers. |
So where are all these PC games ported to Xbox One?

I didn't know crackdown got delayed? Can I see a link?
To be fair we got a new trailer in December and the game is coming out soon.
Gears 4 at e3 was actually really epic.
In my house, it's PC+PS4 versus Nothing, because everyone has a PC, we've got a PS4, and no need for an XB1. Only thing we'd consider additionally is a Wii U or other Nintendo product, as the experience it provides is far and away different from that of the previously mentioned hardware.

This sums up my household to the T. Including the Wii U for the different brands of games. PC. PS4. Wii U. Even throw in a Vita when my 3 year old wants to remote play some of his PS4 games.
games like arcania and risen 3 got ported from pc to ps4 but not xone, sony wasnt even included
