Forums - Gaming Discussion - Which 8th Gen Game Is Your Favourite So Far? 2016 Edition!

I've been away for a few months and there's been a few releases since I last asked this question, so what's your favourite 8th Gen game now?

Points to anyone who can remember mine as nothing has changed for me so far.

Ori and the Blind Forest, used to be Titanfall, though that game is still really good

Surprisingly, Destiny. Honorable mentions to Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Bloodborne and Xenoblade Chronicles X

Pikmin 3.

Maybe Smash Bros? I can play that all day every day for a year and never get tired. That and Splatoon. Ugh, I always have a hard time picking a fav... T_T

In 2015 my favorite 8th gen game was released.

It's Uncharted Collection! - I'm dead serious, Uncharted 2 and 3, best games I've played on a 8th gen console so far.

If you don't count those, The Witcher 3 and Bloodborne, both amazing games.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

Bayonetta 2, Smash, Pikmin 3 and Splatoon

Smash and Splatoon.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Does Undertale counts as an 8th gen game? It is, but its tech is not precisely 8th gen lol. If not, I'd vote for Bayonetta 2.
