In all seriousness though, I have no strong opinion, and I could care less about him.

I'm confused. So you mean to say you do care about him?

You call trump a liar.  List the things that he has lied about.

Wait? Seriously? I'll list a few, I don't have time to list them all.

1. He said the wall will cost...what was it you said? 10 million dollars? Like...less than some large houses?

2. He posted a picture on twitter claiming that 81% of white homicide victims are killed by blacks, when it's actually 15%.

3. He claimed to have seen people jumping out of the WTC on 9/11 from his appartment, 4 miles from the towers.

4. He claimed he saw "Thousands and thousands" of Muslims celebrating in the streets of New Jersey on 9/11.

5. He claimed that there are 30 million illegal immigrants in the U.S.

6. He's claimed that the unemployment rate in the U.S. was somewhere between 18-20%. He's claimed more recentley that it could be 42%.

7. He claimed that the U.S. was going to take in a quarter of a million Syrian refugees.

That's all for now, but don't you worry, there are certainly more. Oh, what the heck, here's two more for the road.

8. He claimed we spent $2 billion on the Obamacare website, it actually cost around $700 million.

9. He called Bernie Sanders a liar for saying that Trump said wages in the U.S. were "too high". Guess what, he did say they were too high.

Which is where I'll leave off since I'd just like it to sink in that Trump thinks wages are too high in the U.S.... Too high....In a country where wages after inflation have stagnated while cost of living has soared. In a country where in 1950  a college education was 19% of a families income and now it's 79% of their income. In a country who's minimum wage has increased by 21% since 1990 while cost of living has increased 67%. Wages are too high, he says.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

He's an idiot, plain and simple. A troll. Just ignore him and he'll go away. I don't believe for a second that this guy has any chance to be elected as president. I just don't. Even Americans can't be THAT stupid. Seriously.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

*Megaphone in hand* He's lying to you! You're being dupped! He's full of shit! *puts down megaphone*

Anyways, in 2007 the congressional Research Office looked at the cost to build a 700 mile "wall" (read: double fence) like the one Trump wants. $49 billion to build and maintain. In 2015 dollars, that's 56 billion dollars. Oh, and remember that it's $56 billion without factoring in the costs of the extra officers and equipment that would be needed to actually, you know, man that wall, or the costs of patrolling the lakes it would cross, or the added cost of building on the mountains it would go over.

Oh, and maybe somone should point out that the Illegal Immigrant population in the U.S. has been largely the same since 2009. 11.3 million in 2009, 11.3 million in 2014.

Trump is making a mountain out of a mole hill to scare people who don't know any better.

Who cares what it'll cost, the Mexicans will pay for it. Through expensive, limited visa's, tarrifs, etc. What's Mexico going to do about it? We could bomb the living hell out of them if we wanted to and massacre the country in a month, no problem. They'll shut up and pay when Trump tells them to, or he'll make life a living hell for that country and it's elite.

And 11 million isn't a molehill - once Trump deports all of those people you better believe a lot of them will try to come back. That's why you need a wall.

To me, he represents someone who is going to fix our economy and bring jobs to the millions of Americans who currently do not have one. There simply is no better candidate than Trump who can do this.

I like the fact that he has spent next to nothing in comparison to the other candidates and is currently leading in the GOP polls. When have we, as a nation, ever spent under budget? I am so freaking tired of hearing the same thing that we are going to fix X and I see nothing done!

For example:
Obama in 2008 campaigned and said we are going to fix our crumbling roads and bridges. In 2012, he said the same thing after spending like 2 trillion dollars. (correct me if I am wrong on those numbers). My point is that I am so tired of seeing them waste all of our money and doing nothing with it.

I am tired of the fact that we currently don't have borders. Our country is perceived as a joke! I went to Eric Idle and John Cleese live and they made fun of the fact that Mexicans were pouring into our country and we as a nation weren't doing anything about it. We know it is an issue for the past 30 years and Trump represents someone who is actually going to fix this issue. If we don't close the border and just allow people to come across illegally, then we don't have a country at all. What is the point of following only certain laws? It's not that I want to keep people out of our country. I just want them to come in legally so the can start paying taxes just like the rest of us. I want a wall so we can stop or slow down the Cartel so drugs stop pouring into our country. Then maybe our kids may have a fighting chance to be successful instead of throwing away their lives to drugs. I want a wall because it prevents ISIS terrorists from easily entering our country.

I want a president that is actually going to take these terrorists threats seriously and who is going to bring the world together to eradicate ISIS. I am tired of the stupid nonsense that is going on in our country (like rich people getting away with taxes and other nonsense) *glares at affluenza kid*. I could go on and on but my vote for Trump will never change.

Is this really the guy you think will balance the debt and improve our economy?

Just proves my point. He has and always will be a sub-par businessman who simply inherited a large fortune...

Trump says he's worth 10 billiob plus. He'd know his own finances better than fortune.

To be brutally honest, I don't know too much about him. And I know most people over exaggerate what he'll do. Most of what he says wouldn't fly. But with his careless comments he definitely gives America as a whole a bad image But I'd rather not have him win

+1

He's the Benito Mussolini of the US

I LOVE ICELAND!

Not my favourite candidate, not as terrible as what some people are making him out to be, either.

Makes me laugh that people are debating over whether or not he's a liar. All politicians lie through their teeth, it's second nature. Just ask:

Barack "I Will Not Use Executive Signing Statements" Obama,
George "Humble Foreign Policy" Bush Junior,
Bill "I Did Not Have Sexual Relations With that Woman" Clinton,
or George "Read My Lips: No New Taxes" Bush Senior.

---

On the immigration issue, Trump is right, immigration in America is broken on a lot of levels. Building the wall isn't a viable solution, $10m is almost a laughably small estimation, and saying that "Mexico will pay for it" is acknowledging you know nothing about how international trade works.

I think Trump's tax plan is better than the status quo, though still pretty bad. I don't like his position on eminent domain. Healthcare, Education, infrastructure, I have no idea what his positions are on those. Same as constitutional rights.

In terms of foreign policy, people who think he's going to cause WWIII just prove that a) they haven't been listening to him on foreign policy, and b) they haven't been listening to other candidates, either. Compared to Hillary Clinton, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, he's a champion of world peace.

He is good comedy.
