Forums - Gaming Discussion - Your biggest 2015 disappointments?

Just curious about what downers you received throughout the year, gaming-wise (though it's OK if you want to tell us some personal impasses).

Can't think of many on my end. The disappointing campaing of Mortal Kombat X, perhaps, considering how good MK9's was, though X is a very solid game nonetheless.

Batman: Arkham Knight. The overuse of Batmobile ruined the game for me. True ending hidden behind bleh side missions didn't help.

Dishonorable mentions - No Fluster Cluck 2 in 2015 & Bloodborne's fanbase make me retroactively dislike the game.

gamewise: Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash
Gaming in General: Konami

Hmm, for me, probably Ultra Smash and Amiibo Fest. Ultra Smash is that rare time when Ninten does release a rather lack luster game and bare bones content, while Amiibo Fest I could have sworn was originally planned to be a free download, and only figurines were required, but when a physical released was the only way to get the game, that left me disappointed...

Games in general. Spent more time watching TV, Netflix and such.

-Fallout 4 was by far the biggest disappointment for me, its just not even remotely as fun as new vegas imo.

That's interesting, considering how much you seemed to enjoy it.

New Vegas is just too damn good, so it doesn't come as a surprise that it's better than F4

I can fix this for 2016.

Only thing I can really think of is the fact that there were no real games for the New 3DS.

Besides Xenoblade, there is like no real incentive that makes me wanna go out and buy one.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

The trio of PS4 exclusives that I was looking forward to at the end of the year, Uncharted 4, Persona 5 & Ratchet, all slipping into 2016.

1. No Uncharted 4

2. FIFA 16 (As Fifa veteran, Fifa 15 was too arcady, Fifa 16 is too "error-prone"? - Actually a world class team like Barcelona seems to play worse on console than for real)

3. MGS V (Was sceptical first, then got hyped by amazing scores from incomplete reviews, then got dissappointed)

4. Need For Speed (Gameplay is flawed, Live action actors had one too many energy drinks imo)

5. The Order 1886 (Expected a great game and got an ok one)

6. Yoshi's Woolly World (Expected an amazing game and got a good one)

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

Nintendo releasing games like Mario Tennis and Amiibo Festival to the market. They are lackluster and they haven't got the quality I always demand to their titles.
